10.01.2022 When you are persistent, it means that you're sticking with it when things are hard. If life were easy, persistence wouldn’t be what differentiates the strong f...rom the weak. Certain things you just have to actually live through. You have to sometimes live through rejection and verbal abuse, taking hours of terribly difficult personalities. You'll cry (I did). You'll wonder why the hell you're doing this (same). You'll have people who are toxic and negative. But when you see these situations through, you're developing your gut and inner strength. This is so much of what makes any business, especially mine, anything but glamorous. It’s downright difficult. Sales is dog-eat-dog because no one makes a salary here. Everyone is operating from a place of survival, and some people will do whatever it takes (like playing dirty), and when you're on the receiving end of whatever it takes that’s where you learn the real-life lessons on what’s worth it. And what’s not. And how to make that decision the next time around. My takeaway from being in this industry this long? Stay true to yourself and keep doing you, baby. Keep going. Just keep going.
