Yankalilla is home to a range of laid-back accommodation options including caravan parks, home rentals and bed and breakfasts, as well as campgrounds in Deep Creek National Park. 12.01.2022 In response to the COVID-19 restrictions, the City of Prospect acted to support local businesses and care for vulnerable members of the community through its COVID-19 Recovery Package. The package included the Prospect Delivers program, a fantastic example of #sacouncils caring for communities. The program supported local restaurants and cafes while also providing meals for isolated residents. ... The City of Prospect distributed 4,400 food vouchers valued at $25 each that could be redeemed at any participating food delivery business in the council area. 08.01.2022 The Salisbury Community Hub supports local connections and is flexible and adaptable, transforming to meet community needs. A range of library services are offered at the Hub, where residents can get involved in learning programs, make use of technology and equipment or book meeting rooms. During COVID-19, Salisbury Council worked hard to continue providing library services to the community, many of whom were at increased risk of isolation. Library resources were made ava...ilable through a Click and Collect service, and through a Library to Your Door service for those unable or unwilling to leave their homes. Many of the learning programs were adapted for delivery online including Discovery Clubs for kids and IT Bootcamps.
