21.01.2022 Vale Carla Zampatti. An iconic fashion designer, trailblazing entrepreneur, generous philanthropist and champion for women’s rights, Carla was also an ally in the fight against HIV/AIDS in Australia during the early days of the epidemic. As one of the inaugural Trustees of the AIDS Trust of Australia, she readily stepped up without hesitation to support people impacted by HIV/AIDS at a time when stigma and prejudice was rife. With her influence and visibility, Carla helped ...opened doors to critical fundraising and support not just in the fashion world, but other sectors of Australian society as well. We pay tribute to Carla’s bravery and express our gratitude for her support for affected communities, particularly in the early years of the HIV crisis.
