23.01.2022 FURTHER ASSISTANCE FOR BUSHFIRE RECOVERY The Australian Government Disaster Recovery Allowance and Disaster Recovery Payment has been extended to those affected... by the North Black Range fire. The Disaster Recovery Allowance is for those people who can show they have experienced a loss of income as a direct result of the bushfire, and the Disaster Recovery Payment is a one-off payment to help people who have been significantly affected by the fire. We’re already building and testing the next version which has a feature many people have asked about watch zones, where you can set up an area to keep an eye on and receive automatic notifications when there’s a fire near you.
