12.01.2022 I see on a lot of forums when people ask questions, it's normally answered with: "In my 20 years in real estate" "I've been doing this job for 5 years" "I've been at the same firm for 6 years"... But is experience everything? No. You can be working in the industry for 20 years and not take an ounce of new training in and now you are just an old fossil - there are so many changes in the last 20 years of property management that you need to keep up to date! Make sure you pick your property manager for what they offer you - not just how long they've been in the industry for. (P.S. I've been in the industry for just over 20 years ;) ).
