24.01.2022 The final flourish for our Belle Property refurbishment was the replacement of the dark blue/grey cabinetry with Absolute Matt Black - no more finger prints for this busy workplace. We extended the height of this cabinet by 100mm, which was a simple but effective way to hide those unsightly (and unstylish!) computers, cords and cabling. The marble desk is the hero here, perfectly complemented by the black cabinetry and backdropped by that impeccable timber screen. Very satisfying way to end my work today! Thank you Lazarus Custom Cabinetry helping to make this happen!

23.01.2022 It is a very humbling experience to win the HIA - CSR North Queensland Outdoor Project for a second time around Thank you Housing Industry Association - HIA, HIA Cairns staff, Russel & Col for your support and thank you to Rapid Building Approvals for delivering the wonderful news to us and sponsoring the event. We are off to The National Awards woohoo!

23.01.2022 This media room was literally empty with the doors always closed. My clients wanted to turn this into a combined media-play room, so the whole family could enjoy relaxed time together. With a compete lack of cupboards, we installed custom-built cabinetry to house individual tubs of organised toys - lego, small toys and craft materials all nearly housed in the same space. A gorgeous new @nickscali 3.5 seater couch will be used for hours of play, movie nights and family hang ou...ts. Of course, we could not leave it white and beige, so we introduced vibrant splashes of colour through @marimekko fabric curtains - my client's cleverness with a sewing machine meant she could create two large cushion covers with the leftover fabric! The wall art is predominantly the work of Cairns artists, which introduces more colour with a local flavour. This space blends seamlessly with the rest of the home's interior, and is now totally set up for my clients to enjoy with their child - and when it gets too messy they can just shut the doors . . .
