22.01.2022 Heading into the city to do some Christmas shopping? Make the most of the FREE three-hour weekend parking across all off-street City of Perth car parks over the... holiday period. The free three-hour weekend parking will add to existing parking initiatives by the City of Perth. These include: Maximum $5-night parking from 6pm until 6am, seven nights a week at all City of Perth off street carparks. Free on street parking in standard parking bays across the city after 6pm, seven nights a week. No fee timed on-street parking on Sundays. One-hour free on-street parking in selected areas along Hay street in East Perth, West Perth and Royal Street, Claisebrook. The three hour free parking is available until 31 January 2021. Look out for the ...stilt walkers, contortionists, magicians, acrobats, ballerinas, fairies, percussionists and fire twirlers wandering the streets of Northbridge, instilling cheer in people of all ages. Visitors can get ready to count down to 2021 with the spectacular fireworks displays from Northbridge rooftops at 9pm and midnight. 01.01.2022 AUSTRALIA DAY FESTIVAL WEEK With the fireworks cancelled this year, the City of Perth has been working with our local community groups to repurpose funds towards a family-friendly festival of events spread across our inner-city neighbourhoods.
