21.01.2022 In Kalamunda, you never know what you’ll bump into while doorknocking!

20.01.2022 We owe our dedicated WA police officers so much. This Police Week, let’s take the time to say thank you to all those officers who work so hard to keep our Hills community safe.

19.01.2022 It’s Election Day - and a cold one at that! It’s been one of the great privileges of my life working as your local Liberal candidate over the past year. Growing up in a place, you think you know it - but there’s always so much more beneath the surface. ... After twelve months on the hustings, I can safely say that I’ve never had a greater appreciation for just how lucky we are to call the Perth Hills home. If elected, I promise to put that passion to use each and every day in service to our community. That’s why I’m respectfully asking for your local vote.

19.01.2022 DON’T GIVE LABOR TOO MUCH POWER. VOTE LIBERAL LOCALLY.

18.01.2022 This is Dee and Matt - the owners of Old Mates Cafe, which has kept us fuelled up with fantastic coffee over the past weeks of Early Voting! They’ve brought new life to the bottom of Haynes Street and created local jobs along the way. Most of all, they’re passionate Hills locals who want to see Kalamunda thrive. ... I’m fighting to be elected so that I can work with you and every local - like Dee and Matt - to make the Perth Hills an even better place to live! That’s why I’m respectfully asking for your local vote tomorrow.

17.01.2022 Kanyana Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre treats, heals and cares for some of WA’s most vulnerable wildlife. We are so lucky to have it nestled in Kalamunda and it was a pleasure to join the Chamber for a visit last night. Well done to Helen and her team for putting on a fantastic event!

16.01.2022 Thank you to the many Kalamunda locals who joined us for a packed Community Afternoon Tea! It was a pleasure to invite Defence Minister Linda Reynolds - who is a proud product of Kalamunda! - back home to update residents on the COVID-19 crisis and take their questions.

Use these four steps and have a conversation that could change, or even save, a life:... 1. Ask R U OK? 2. Listen 3. Encourage action 4. Check in Visit https://www.ruok.org.au/ for more tips and resources today.

15.01.2022 An apprenticeship can be tough. New skills, a new team to work with and the big cost of new tools you need to get your job done. We get it and the $1000 Apprenticeship Kickstarter will help new apprentices buy the new equipment they need to get started in work. Our plan not only benefits young people it will also be available to Western Australians who want to reskill or upskill, including those impacted by COVID-19.... Costs of getting into the workforce or changing career like uniforms, car licensing or driving lessons, police checks, medical assessments and online training will all be covered by the Apprenticeship Kickstarter. The Liberals are focused on creating local jobs, helping local apprentices and backing our local small and family businesses. That's our Local Jobs Guarantee.

09.01.2022 ANNOUNCEMENT The WA Liberals’ Local Jobs Guarantee will fix Labor's bungled local jobs law and create more opportunities for WA small and family-run businesses, helping the WA economy bounce back quicker and stronger. Under the Liberals, local" really will mean local.... Labor's bungled local jobs law defines local businesses as "suppliers of goods produced, or services provided, in Western Australia, another State, a Territory or New Zealand. Recently, this has meant $9 million worth of small business contracts that could have been done by WA businesses and workers were awarded to companies over east! The Liberals’ Local Jobs Guarantee will keep local jobs and profits here in WA, where we need them most. Learn more https://www.waliberal.org.au/local-jobs-guarantee

01.01.2022 Every election features some graffiti, but it was disappointing to see someone scrawl All Cops Are B*stards just a day after Police Remembrance Day. Our police officers put it all on the line to keep our community safe. They are the very best of us.
