You can always expect something a bit different from this couple. Was a pleasure and an adventure to work with this couple - they even caused a mini tornado at one of our meetings! 21.01.2022 Well - what a year was 2020! As with many other services, the wedding industry was decimated by the Covid 19 situation. It has been so heartbreaking for couples to give up on the kind of wedding that they had dreamed of - or to give up on their wedding altogether. Whilst we are still nowhere near out of the woods as far as this dreadful virus goes - we do see some increasing confidence in wedding planning again. People still want to get married and some are deciding that the... circumstances of their wedding may not be as important as just making that date, to make that promise, to the one they love. I am starting to see that 2021 may be a very busy time for weddings - so couples - if you are thinking that the time is right - please make your plans early, including engaging your Marriage Celebrant. I am looking forward to sharing many amazing ceremonies with people in love and look forward to hearing from you. 13.01.2022 Today I just wanted to say a few words about your choice of Wedding Ceremony location. These days most couples want to get married outside. They choose beautiful locations beside water, under trees and on hillsides. These locations provide some stunning photo opportunities and can really enhance the atmosphere of the wedding. However, there are some factors that should be considered if you are wanting an outside wedding. They are: The weather: Extreme temperatures, high w...inds and current fire danger should all be monitored in the week/s before the wedding and an alternative venue should be organised should the weather conditions present a risk to the wedding party and guests. Terrain: please consider you elderly or disabled guests, and those wearing very high heels, choose a location that they can get to and from without risk. Facilities: consider whether there are toilet facilities accessible to the location, if there is any shade and please provide water for guests should the weather be warm. Privacy: the local town beach may be your favourite spot for your wedding, but if it is a public place you have no control over who else will be there at the time of your ceremony. Putting some thought and planning into your wedding ceremony location can help to prevent some unpleasant elements and can ensure you have the very best spot for the magic to unfold unhindered!
