23.01.2022 Waive the fines.
20.01.2022 When the government thinks they can ban kissing on New Year's Eve, it's time to realise the lunatics are running the asylum.
17.01.2022 What's your thoughts on proportionate and least restrictive definitions and their applications in the real world?
14.01.2022 38% of our fuel costs are tax and excise. Every time you go to the pump you are paying tax. The current system of tax upon tax upon tax is unfair to Australian...s. Every country needs an income and a budget, but it is only fair that the government learns to spend wisely, tighten their belt and not demand a loan every time they have a budget blow out - like we all have to! The Liberal Democrats believe that a smarter budget and lower taxes will create a better standard of living for all Australians. The first place to start is cutting the fuel excise.
10.01.2022 In the wake of the government's response to COVID-19, electricity needs to be reliable and cheap. Nuclear is one option to ensure reliable, clean energy for job... creating industries. The NSW Liberal Democrats believe nuclear should be legalised. We also support other forms of energy generation as long as there are no taxpayer funded subsidies propping them up.
05.01.2022 Human rights should be defended from tyranny regardless of 'emergencies' or a pandemic. Rights are rights. They are not optional, they are not up for debate, they supersede government and bureaucracy. Here is a list of your fundamental human rights the government took away in 2020.
04.01.2022 Parliament week highlights from your Liberal Democrats team.
03.01.2022 Merry Christmas and seasons greetings from the Liberal Democrats! We hope everyone has a safe and happy holiday season...even The Australian Greens Merry Christmas everyone!
01.01.2022 The Federal Government can't expect to operate on credit cards forever without consequences. New South Wales and Victoria have faced the consequences of over-ex...tended budgets and high deficits this year with a downgrade of their credit rating. High debt uses your hard-earned money to pay interest on reckless government spending. The current debt is so huge that it will still be being paid off by children not yet born - how's that for taxation without representation! It's time for the government to make some hard choices and cut spending until debt is back under control.
