25.01.2022 In light of the recent Covid-19 pandemic, we at Liberty Balloon Flights would like to assure our customers that the company is taking all necessary hygienic precautions to ensure that the safety and well-being of our passengers is being looked after throughout their ballooning experience. Ballooning is done in very small groups ranging from 6-12 people and only a few times a week. We do ask passengers before their flight if they have shown any symptoms or if they have been in contact with anyone with confirmed Coronavirus. Our vehicles and equipment are sanitised (as much as outdoor gear can be). We consider the activity to be very low risk and believe we can Keep Calm and Fly On! #libertyballoonflights #thepeacefuladventure

However, we often get told by our passengers that its one of the most peaceful experiences theyve ever had. 09.01.2022 Have you ever watched as a caterpillar becomes a butterfly? The inflation process is one of the most magical parts of the ballooning experience. Its still dark when we arrive at our destination, at this time of the year, its cold, the grass is covered in frost. The envelope lies bare and shallow on the floor in the dark. Our crew prepare the fan and cold air begins to fill the balloon. Once ready, our pilot ignites the burners, an incredible amount of heat and energy exert...s itself on our envelope. When standing close by you can feel the warmth radiating through the air. As the heat fills the envelope, the Balloon begins to take shape and stand up. Following the necessary restrictions made by the Prime Minister Scott Morrison, we have had to make the very difficult decision to keep our feet on the ground temporarily. Like many things in all our lives at the moment, there is no set date as to when life as we know it will return back to normal, or when we will be up in the sky again enjoying the views that our country has to offer. Wha...t is important right now is that we remain healthy and that we look after the wider community as much as possible. However, the journey that was paused will eventually start again.
