24.01.2022 On World Laboratory Animal Day, we invite you to follow the story of a group of guinea pig boys who spent their early lives in a research facility and are now living freely on a farm in the northern rivers region of New South Wales. 22.01.2022 We are very excited to announce that our first ever rabbit from a research facility - Julius - is available for adoption, with his new galpal Starlight! Julius was recently released from a research facility and is learning a lot about rabbit ways from Starlight. These two are currently housed in a rabbit sanctuary in NSW where they met a few weeks' ago and have become inseparable. They would like to be house rabbits that have some grass time too. Julius is a 4-month old New ...Zealand White who is currently over 3kg but has more growing to do - he is quite skittish but friendly. Starlight is a 8-9-month old lop-eared dwarf rabbit who has a very relaxed and cuddly personality. Together they are an adorable pair, who would make lovely pets in a home where they can free-range without other animals or where other animals are kept separately. They are both desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, treated with Revolution and mostly litter tray trained (well Starlight is litter trained and Julius is catching up!) Julius can get a bit naughty around towels and mesh type joggers, but that's all part of still being a baby. We are inviting expressions of interest from people in NSW - Sydney, Central Coast or surrounds - who would like to adopt Julius and Starlight. 20.01.2022 This is Billy, Mikey, James, Panther and Joey absolutely loving their free-range home on the farm with their new family! They were rehomed nearly two weeks' ago and are becoming more confident each day. Have fun boys!!

We have some lovely little piggies who have just come out of a research establishment and would like to be rehomed in groups. They are all healthy, 8-week old smooth haired guinea pig babies (undesexed). You can fill out our expression of interest form here: https://bit.ly/2Vju0e8 For the boys we'd like to find homes with hutch and extra large run like a converted shed or chook pen/coop (not... being used for chooks) or an enclosed orchard or a protected area on a farm where they can have plenty of space. All 11 can be rehomed together in a large space or can be broken up into smaller groups. The three girls would like to stay together in a hutch and large run or similar type of enclosure - they don't need quite as much space. 18.01.2022 Rats aplenty! We will soon receive 6 lovely boy rats (desexed) and healthy, ready to move into their new forever homes. They are sweet-natured albino boys who are bonded in pairs and would like to stay with their friend. They will be able to free-range indoors and outside, exploring, digging and taking in the sunshine. 11.01.2022 HI, we have some little mice wanting to come out of a research establishment into loving forever homes. We have 24 healthy albino (white with pink eyes) females, they can go in groups (minimum of three). To be considered you will need to provide images of the enclosure and home environment where the mice will be housed. 06.01.2022 This is the story of five little guinea pig boys released from a research establishment into the care of Liberty Foundation, who won a free photo shoot with Peter from Tame & Wild Studio. Here is a video of their special day out, having their photos taken for the first time! Since the video was made, the boys have been adopted and rehomed on a beautiful farm at Mangrove Mountain! They are looking for homes with plenty of... space like a run attached to a hutch - around 50cm2 per piggie - this just ensures a more successful rehoming as there is generally no fighting when they have plenty of space to run around.
