18.01.2022 RONI and GABBYS "BACK TO SCHOOL SHOEBOX APPEAL" would like to help make a difference in the lives of Timorese children please share and support! Fill and wrap a shoebox or more with school supplies,pencils, markers, erasers, sharpeners, exercise/ note books, toys, colouring activities, card games, toothbrush, toothpaste, soap, facecloth,the list goes on. These boxes will travel via shipping container and are needed by end January.The aim is to provide for some orphan girls in Maliana, the kindy and mid-high school students of Encouragement House, Maliana, children in Dili and other villages I have visited where children are in need. 04.01.2022 I had huge success and fun in Timor delivering sets of story books to kids all over Timor... to schools in remote areas, to nuns and orphan girls in their care, to a beachside school and a school in Dili itself, and my personal donation to a Timorese family who will share the joy of reading with extended family.Other libraries are already in storage waiting for teacher training sessions in Sept. where teachers will then be able to take a set of books back to their classrooms!
