25.01.2022 One of the magical things about books is that they can transport you to a completely different place. "I Am Martin" (written by Maria Fernanda Forero Montejo and illustrated by Adriana Cifuentes Acosta) is a story which does just that. The book tells the story of Martin and his life in Bogota, Colombia. Part of the "I Am" series, these stories introduce readers to children from around the world, teaching them about different places and cultures. #IllustrationsThatSpeak
21.01.2022 Breaking: an exciting merger takes us closer to helping 20 million children by 2030. In mid-2019, discussions with program partner Save the Children Australia highlighted the shared values of our two organisations, and the potential for growing our impact by working together. Following a period of due diligence by both organisations, we are pleased to announce that Library For All has successfully merged with Save the Children. ... The merger provides Library For All with direct access to Save the Children's global footprint in more than 100 countries, making us part of a global movement of education, language and literacy specialists working to improve the lives of children. It also connects us with a network of new opportunities to partner on programs. Importantly, it provides us with the opportunity to deepen our investment in our Library and our education technology including the Spark Digital Library Kit and Library For All Digital Library Application.
18.01.2022 Gude Papua New Guinea! (Hello Papua New Guinea!). On this #ImpactFriday we are celebrating our latest opportunity with Save the Children Australia to bring the joy of reading to 39,000 more children in PNG. This is a continuation of our long term partnership with Save the Children in PNG, and is the first of three major shipments of educational resources heading to our various partners in PNG before the end of 2020. #lettheworldlearn
16.01.2022 It's imperative for us that schools be given the proper resources to use our digital library. One of the resources we provide is cases, cases allow for safe and secure storage of tablets in schools. These cases in this photo are currently on their way to schools in Laos! #ImpactFriday

10.01.2022 This beautiful image is from our title "A Beautiful Heart" (illustrated by Bojana Simic). This book tells the story of a kid called Bolt, who learns that sometimes to be kind to others, you need to sacrifice something of yourself. What an important message #IllustrationsThatSpeak

08.01.2022 A culturally diverse collection of illustrated children’s books requires a diverse set of voices. This week we’ve worked with academics, educators, professionals, students and children at our writer’s workshops in Dili to capture their unique stories. These stories will be published by Library For All and become some of the founding books in our Tetun collection in Timor-Leste! #lettheworldread

04.01.2022 At Library For All, we are always striving to improve our programs and their implementation. One of the ways we are doing this is by conducting two day reflection workshops on using LFA's digital library in the classroom. These photos are from the first workshop held in Port Moresby, where members from the community gave feedback on our Spark Digital Library Kit pilot program. Next week, members of the LFA team will be travelling across Papua New Guinea to conduct more workshops. These events have been conducted under the Together For Education project made possible through PNGAus Partnerships. #ImpactFriday
