18.01.2022 Last week we celebrated National Bird Week at our place! At art & craft time we drew pictures of birds , told stories and enjoyed a bird themed puppet show. The children played with feathers and pretended to be birds at sport and music time- they really enjoyed flapping their wings and had a great time together

13.01.2022 What a great opportunity to celebrate Environment week! I try to develop an understanding and respect for natural environment and interdependence between people, plants, animals and the land. By packing away toys, cleaning the yard after storms, seeing the beauty of nature through excursions, and other activities, the children learn to balance all these important elements of their daily life and understand their value. This week the children had a great time creating a big poster through a combination of team-work and individual contributions. I hope you enjoy!

12.01.2022 One of the children’s favourite activities and an integral element of a child’s play is playing and participating in art & craft activities that involve natural materials. Twigs, pine cones, small stones, leaves, shells and sand benefit a child’s early years experiences by stimulating their creativity and imagination. They provide a more tactile stimulation for children to help them improve their hand/finger awareness and coordination. Natural materials are easily accessible and encourage children to learn about nature while also providing a rich sensory experience. Using natural materials is better for the environment and very enjoyable.

01.01.2022 Music is one of the most important and effective ways to educate children. At our place, there is music everywhere - during free play, sleeping, playing in the fresh air, special singing lessons to the accompaniment of the piano and, of course, during music and movement time with musical instruments. Each activity has its own special music. Classical music inspires children while they are drawing. Rhythmic music raises their morale during physical activity. Soft and relax...ing music soothes children during yoga and stretching. Music also helps children to comfortably acclimatise to new environments. We will continue to provide music in all of our activities, to help our children better understand and appreciate the world around them.
