21.01.2022 Here are a few tips to help you keep your eyelash extensions looking their best and lasting longer... Don't use oil-based products around your eyes. Check your face creams, cleansers, sunscreen etc, and if they contain oil keep them well away from your eye area. Or better yet switch to an oil-free product Wash your eyes, lashes & eye area every day (and more thoroughly if you've used mascara or other make up) - but remember to use an oil-free water-based product... Never use waterproof mascara! If you do like to wear mascara while you have eyelash extensions, make sure you use a water-based product and apply it only to the tips of your lashes Don't rub, pull or pick at your eyelash extensions Brush your lashes regularly to keep them clean and looking their best. With your lid closed, roll the brush through your lashes from the lid to the tips, (the same way the technician brushed your lashes during application) - don't brush them as if you're applying mascara. My new clients all get an eyelash brush in their gift bag on their first visit, but you can also but them online for around a dollar or less
