23.01.2022 Some of you know of my support for Midnight Feast. FYI Midnight Feast is the brainchild of Kylie Harris who established a performing arts company that enables artists experiencing physical, intellectual and emotional challenges the opportunity to participate in the performing arts and celebrates abilities not limitations. Through Kylie's hard work and determination, Midnight Feast now trains at NIDA and are producing their latest show, Fireside, at the Sydney Opera House. Th...ey are producing 3 shows: an evening event on Thurs 29th Nov, a matinee on Fri 30th or an evening show on Fri 30th. You can find more info here including buying tickets: https://www.sydneyoperahouse.com//20/fireside-tickets.html Thank you for considering supporting such a worthwhile event! Licia

17.01.2022 Opening shot of Q&A tonight - I’m front row with my white jacket on. I wanted to hear for myself what the former member for Wentworth thought of the last 2 months.

16.01.2022 I am very saddened to learn about the death of Ted Mack. Along with John Hatton, Ted Mack showed what could be achieved by Independents who acted with integrity... and were solely motivated by serving their communities and the public good. I was proud that Ted endorsed me when I first ran for Bligh in 1988 and I was honoured to serve with him in the Legislative Assembly for several months after I was elected. Ted purposely resigned two days before he had served seven years as an MP to avoid collecting a parliamentary pension. This was characteristic of him he was completely committed to parliamentary service, rather than accepting any entitlements it brings. During much of his time as MP, Ted was also Mayor of North Sydney, and showed us how the two roles could be combined in the interest of his local community. During his time as Mayor he did not collect the Mayoral allowance. Ted was later elected to the Federal Parliament and again resigned shortly before he became eligible for a parliamentary pension. He was a beacon for public service, independent representation and democracy. I send my condolences to his wife Wendy and his family. I will miss him.

12.01.2022 MESSAGE FROM LICIA ATTACHED. One week on from election day, as my posters are being pulled off poles around Wentworth and we wind up our social media channels, I wanted to express my gratitude to those who followed my Independent campaign in the Wentworth by-election and especially to those who voted, volunteered and donated. Watching people who'd never been involved in the political process engage in my campaign was inspiring and humbling. In Australia, our culture can sometimes make people feel embarrassed or self-conscious about getting involved in politics - but grassroots involvement in what you believe in is critical to a working democracy. Thank you for getting involved - you helped create unprecedented change in Wentworth! #wentworthy (please share this post)
