21.01.2022 ANAM is seeking Expressions of Interest from **Australian composers** of diverse backgrounds and career trajectories, working across a range of art music styles. 13.01.2022 Beethoven was baptised 250 years ago today! There is some uncertainty over the actual date of his birth, but it's generally believed that yesterday would have been his 250th Birthday. Unfortunately the big birthday year didn’t go quite as planned for Beethoven, however as with much else, the engagement that would have taken place on the stages of the city’s concert halls has moved on line. A search of the internet reveals an intense interest in the great composer’s work, wit...h much exciting new musicological investigation coming to light, including this extract from the Journal of the University of Tacoma Musicological Society, outlining some research into one of the composer’s recently discovered conversation books.
