23.01.2022 To all the Lifeball players I say Hello! It has been sometime since I posted anything to you on Facebook and I am so sorry but, as you know I have had my health struggles etc. I realise that many of you will be starting up your game soon and If you need any help with how to manage with all the restrictions, Brian and I have a few ideas. Social distancing will be the difficult one but we feel it possible. I will post our ideas on facebook over the next few days to help any... group that may be wondering how we play under these restriction. For many of us the isolation has been very difficult and some of our groups have decided not to return to the court till 2021. Others however have been given the green light to start up in August so, it just depends on where you live and how things are in your area. Staying well in your priority. At home if you have a ball keep practicing your ball skills as this is an easy one to do. It's amazing how quickly one feels better with a " Lifeball in your hand". Just doing this one easy exercise ( throwing and catching) can stimulate excitement and energy. If you are seeing your grandchildren get them into playing with you, with the ball. You can even put your Lifeball bib on and pretend you are on the court. This again is a good mental boost to the mind. I do hope that we are back playing again in full swing soon but realise that we must take care and be aware of the restrictions. I will post our ideas up on facebook this week. Meanwhile , look after yourselves and stay safe and "Keep the Lifeball Dream Alive". Best wishes, Coll and Brian See more

19.01.2022 To all my Lifeball players. So sorry that I haven't been in touch with you for so long but it's been a very difficult year and I am only just coming to the end of my treatment. I got through the chemotherapy, then surgery and now on the last part of the process which is the Radiation Therapy. Only 4 more weeks to go. I have been given some good results from the Oncologist and surgeon so fingers crossed I will be back in good health soon. I think of you all and would love to catch up with you at some stage. I hope to travel up to Queensland to see my brother and if there is any chance to get to see the teams up north I will certainly make the effort. Please write messages to each other via the facebook as I know the groups in love staying in touch. My best wishes to you all and "keep the dream alive" cheers Colleen

18.01.2022 Hi to all my Lifeball players. Sorry I haven't been in touch for awhile but as you can imagine the journey I am on takes up a lot of time especially with Dr's etc. I have heard from some of the groups and they are going well even-though those who live in Victoria have found their numbers have dropped due to the very cold weather. Let's hope we see some good weather soon in these areas. I leave for Sydney next week to have my last check up so fingers crossed all will be cl...ear.. I will be in Deni later in the year doing some work for Murrumbidgee Health and possibly Griffith so hope to catch up with the groups in those areas. The Finley group are going well and they are our newest group. I hear that there are some Fun and Friendship days coming up with some groups. Let me know if you are having a F and Friendship day in case I can call in. I hope to get up to Q'land later in the year so may be able to call in and touch base with our Northern NSW players. Please stay safe and play by the rules and look after your Umpires. "Keep the dream Alive" and have fun. Best wishes to you all and hope to see you soon. Colleen See more

14.01.2022 At long lastELDERFLOWER!! . We are beyond excited to finally launch our 100% natural, small batch soda range. . Made on-site in Beechworth with the finest A...ustralian fruit & botanicals. Infused with our famous alpine spring , our newest sodas are lightly carbonated for the ultimate refreshment. . Not only are they completely free from preservatives & artificial flavours, they have less than 6.5 grams of sugar per 100ml. Delicious on their own, they also make the perfect mixer. . Whilst there are many more unique flavours on the way, we’ve chosen to launch with our Elderflower & Lemon for a few special reasons. . 1. The people have spoken, Elderflower is the flavour you have asked for & it’s finally here! 2. Elderflower blossoms used in this creation were generously donated by our local community @vegananni & Kilmuir Farm 3. Created with love , our families helped hand pick the flowers, craft these with an abundance of lemon rind, strain this through muslin cloth & can the final product 4. It’s a little present to ourselves! It’s what we wanted to drink for Christmas . Due to the limited and seasonal availability of Elderflowers, this soda has been made in a small batch and once sold out, will not be released again until late next year. . To order, call (03) 5728 1304 or email [email protected] . Cheers, . Flic, Nath & the team at Billson’s @ Beechworth, Victoria See more
