25.01.2022 We hope everyone is well! We are doing our utmost to protect us all while we are still open as an Essential service. We are also taking telehealth appointments, for some practitioners, so please ring us to see who can help you. You can still book face to face appointments online or by phone, and as you can see by Nick’s photo below, being vain is not an issue right now!! Our practitioners and receptionists are very much safety first. You can keep your paid invoice and sms as... proof you are attending a medical service. For safety during this time, our Clinical Exercise Classes will again be suspended. Your passes will be extended. We are still offering 1:1 with your physio. Please contact us if you are interested. 25.01.2022 Merry Christmas to all our valued clients! We are open during the Christmas break!

23.01.2022 We understand that our clients and community are experiencing many emotions due to everything that is happening in our world. At Lifecare, we wanted to take the time to inform you of what we are doing to keep you and our team safe. While our services are operating as 'business as usual’, we have increased our clinic cleaning and sanitisation measures. This includes regular and targeted cleaning of the clinic, equipment and common areas (including hand rails and door knobs) ...and meticulous personal hygiene for clinicians including hand washing, sanitising during and after sessions, and the disinfecting of personal spaces (desks, keyboards, phones, ect). In addition to this, all clinical staff will be staying home should they exhibit any cold symptoms or have returned home from overseas travel. During this time, we ask that our clients respect our team and stay home should they be experiencing any cold symptoms. If you are concerned or wish to reschedule your appointment please do not hesitate to contact us on 9725 2444 .

22.01.2022 With working from home becoming the new norm, it is important to ensure your home office set-up is properly arranged to keep you productive and happy. Whilst o...ur doors are still open for (very clean) hands-on consultations with those who are well, we also offer Tele-health consultations (video conferencing) for patients if they prefer, and establishing a good setup will make these so much more worthwhile. APA Titled Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist Annette Sim has put together a list of 5 tips on how to set up your work station at home. 13.01.2022 With social distancing being the dominant strategy nation-wide for the minimisation of spread of COVID-19 / Coronavirus, the ongoing pandemic is seeing more and... more people being advised to stay at home and to take work home wherever possible. Whilst the older population and those with chronic health conditions or impaired immune systems are fundamentally our main health concern when talking about COVID-19, this is not to say that other health conditions or populations should be ignored. Like most medical and allied health clinics around the country, we are offering TELEHEALTH consults at Lifecare Prahran Sports Medicine for all of our services, in particular for certain groups that may be more vulnerable (e.g. the older populations, this with chronic medical conditions or immuno-compromise). It is important to understand that whilst some practitioners are choosing to consult by Telehealth alone, most of our practitioners are still able to see patients face-to face in the clinic if need be. To learn more about the practise of TELEHEALTH and its benefits, click here: https://www.lifecare.com.au//telehealth-what-is-it-all-ab/
