15.01.2022 It is with the very heaviest of hearts we inform you that Simone Barker one of our very finest Physios - has passed away. Simone battled an aggressive form of Acute Myeloid Leukaemia. Her husband Rich was with her when she passed.... She has 2 young children. Simone was an outstanding Physiotherapist MusculoSkeletal Physiotherapist. She worked with Cirque Du Soleil prior to joining the LifeCare Wembley team, where she has worked for almost 10 years and looked after the Perth Lions Netball Club. Simone will be missed by everyone who knew her.

GLA:D, or Good Life with Arthritis: Denmark, is an education and exercise program developed by researchers in Denmark for people with hip or knee osteoarthritis symptoms. Research shows, from the GLA:D program in Denmark, shows symptom progression reduces by 32%.... Other outcomes include a less pain, reduced use of joint related pain killers, and less people on sick leave. GLA:D participants also reported high levels of satisfaction with the program and increased levels of physical activity 12 months after starting the program. 11.01.2022 To all of our valued Clinical Exercise clients, We have come to the very difficult decision to temporarily close our Clinical Exercise studio as we try to manage the current situation. This was decision was not made lightly as we all know the importance of regular exercise for both physical and mental wellbeing, and the impact that Clinical Exercise can have on our lives. We also enjoy the comradery which has developed between our regular clients. We know our Saturday clients... all have fun with Davids regular dress-up days! We understand that this is a frustrating time for both clients and Physios alike, but we genuinely feel that in the long-term it is best practice for all concerned. Please know that we are here to support you in any way possible, and let us know if you have any thoughts as to how we may achieve this. We are open to suggestions..
