04.01.2022 All restrictions on chiropractors in Melbourne are lifted from tomorrow. This means anyone from your whole family (inc kids) can make an appointment at any time. As always we have COVID safe protocols in place. We can’t wait to see you all again, we know It’s been a long tough couple of months and we look forward to working with you all to get your health back on track.... 03.01.2022 Firstly...how the heck are you? We hope you and your family are as safe and well as can be expected during these whacky times. Please let us know if we can help in any way.... We've had a topsy turvy 48 hours trying to work out what we're allowed to do for this next 6 weeks. We are allowed to be open...but access will be significantly restricted. By direction of The Department of Health and Human Services we are only allowed to provide emergency care. Sadly this means NO ROUTINE VISITS until Monday September 14th. So...just in case you were wondering, here's what DHHS defines as emergency care (Warning...it's wordy!): Care must only be provided if the absence of, or delay of this care, would result in a significant change/deterioration in the patient/client’s functional independence necessitating escalation of care: a requirement for specialist input/review an increase in care needs and/or alternate accommodation avoiding a hospital admission or emergency department presentation. In lay terms, if not coming for an adjustment means you're going to need to see your GP or go to the hospital you're allowed to come in for an adjustment. Everything else needs to wait until the 14th :-( To further minimise travel over the next 6 weeks we will be on restricted hours. Kirby will be working Tuesday 8am - 10am Angus will be working Thursdays 8am - 10am. Appointments can still be made online. Please be aware that all patients will be personally contacted before their visit to assess their needs. 03.01.2022 Wow 2020 will certainly go down as one year we will all remember ! We understand if you are as confused as us right now as our "normal" life seems to be changing on the daily. We just wanted to drop you a quick note to let you know that WE ARE STILL OPEN during Melbournes newest lockdown period taking effect last week (July 9.)... Chiropractic care is considered an "essential service" and falls under the "receiving medical care" category of the 4 reasons you can leave your house.
