22.01.2022 In these difficult times we need to be upholding our Pastors in prayer as they continue to Minister & Lead.

21.01.2022 It is with a heavy heart we advise all church events are closed until further notice due to the Government taking precautions to slow the Corona-virus down. Unfortunately, we have cancelled our 50th Church Anniversary Event. Praying God will sustain His people in the months coming.

03.01.2022 Praising God for 50 Years! We are Praising God for the work He has done in the Mt Gravatt area over the last 50 years! For the men God has mightily called to Pastor at Life Gate Baptist Church: from Dr James Ray who started Life Gate Baptist Church in 1970, Bro Clyde Simpson, Bro Robert Meyer, Bro Glen Weeks, Bro Dino Layton, Bro Barry Greenwood and Bro Wayne Zimmermann, the current Pastor who has faithfully served along with his wife Jenny over the past 40 years. We are Pr...aising God for the different Outreach Ministries that have run, from the Kids Club to the Church Camps, Young Adult meetings, Sunday School & Adult Bible Time, the Church School which ran for 20 years, Christmas Outreach which started as a fruit cake gift to more than 200 houses, to the Special Music that has been sung by many different people, and the Easter Friday Services that we have done together with Fellowship Baptist & Springwood Baptist over the past 10 years. We are Praising God for the many Men and Women that have faithfully served in different positions and stood in the gap! We will continue to pray God will sustain Pastor Wayne and his wife as they continue to serve in His work. That God will give Life Gate many more years to do His Work by His Grace & through His people! Ebenezer - Hitherto hath the Lord helped us.
