25.01.2022 This shows what is happening in Victoria at the moment. Many of us are now at breaking point and wondering whether we will be able to reconnect with those who have supported this police state. I don't usually post anything political on my work page, but I can't believe that the state that I grew up in is imposing these extreme measures on its citizens. And this is all about to get worse if the Omnibus Bill is passed. I am feeling broken.

Bondage and freedom sometimes go hand in hand. The bondage is being true to pattern, predictable, caught in habits and tendencies perpetually left to grow like weeds. The freedom is that as you meet yourself starkly in the midst of these old, tired patterns of behavior, you come into touch... with a quickening flame of self-recreation, stimulated and forced by being at the mercy of the relentless patterns. 08.01.2022 I have lots of Ruby Saltbush in my garden and I love to snack on these sweet little magenta berries. Sometimes I put them in salads and I've read that you can dry the leaves and crush them as a spice. The magenta berries can also be used to make a red dye. The berries are supposed to be an anti-scorbutic (something that stops scurvy) as they are high in Vitamin C. 07.01.2022 I travelled to Cobargo in Yuin Country after the devastating bushfires. A lovely local took me into the bush near the sacred mountain Gulaga, the mother. Here we made an essence using Wattle and Gulaga water.
