25.01.2022 Life Live It! Occupational Therapy grows in South West WA We are very excited to have two outstanding Occupational Therapist's join our South West Life Live It! team this year. This week I was fortunate to visit this dynamic duo and see them in action providing a home visiting Occupational Therapy service throughout the South West of WA. Our Bunbury office received an upgrade of equipment to more efficiently communicate with head office and additional rehabilitation resourc...es for our South West clients. A big thank you to the allied health staff at SJOG Bunbury, Busselton Health Campus and Bunbury Regional Hospital for meeting to share information about South West Occupational Therapy resources and services to ensure our clients make a smooth transition from hospital to home. What better way to end my time than with a beautiful sunset. Thank you for your hospitality South West WA. Ill be back to visit again soon.

24.01.2022 Today the Life Live It! team spent time with a Veraison consultant who shared their vision for a world of high performing individuals and thriving organisations. We learnt skills in using open communication, resolving conflict and working together to solve problems, improve ideas and achieve high performance. We all agreed starting our work day with coffee and muffins helps us perform at our very best too.... We are ready to deliver extraordinary results to all our clients!

23.01.2022 On 18/4 Life Live It! OT welcomed Gaven Wicks from Strike Training and Consulting back to facilitate our annual staff training on safety in home visiting. We learnt how to gather environmental and situational information prior to home visits to identify safety risks and practices to assess and monitor safety on arrival and throughout a visit. We gained confidence responding to a threatening situation by practicing effective communication, positioning and self-defence techniques. It was a great reminder to always put safety first.

16.01.2022 As an Occupational Therapist at Life Live It! Occupational Therapy we take time to listen to the unique stories of each of our clients. By understanding who our clients are we can respond to their unique needs. Thank you to Dementia Support Australia (DSA) for visiting our team last week. We gained a broader understanding of behaviour and increased our knowledge of dementia care. We look forward to continuing to make a difference in the lives of our clients.

13.01.2022 Life Live It! Occupational Therapy had the pleasure of presenting at the Legacy camps in Busselton this year. Thank you to all the lovely ladies we met for their fellowship and sharing your amazing stories. We look forward to seeing you again on camp in 2019. Take care ladies.

09.01.2022 Port Kennedy RSL DVA Information night. Last month, Life Live It! Occupational Therapy were delighted to be part of the dedicated team of service providers presenting when Port Kennedy RSL opened its doors for a DVA Information night. We enjoyed listening to veterans discuss their unique needs about living at home and strengthening our networks with local service providers. 06.01.2022 Life Live It! Occupational Therapy is dedicated to assisting veterans cope with stress, adapt to change and achieve their goals. We understand the importance of good mental health and wellbeing. To follow up on Post Traumatic Stress Disorder Awareness day, we met for education and explored the impact of trauma, features of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and reviewed current treatment, resources and research into Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.... We look forward to using our updated knowledge and skills to improve the quality of life of our veterans.

03.01.2022 Life Live It! Occupational Therapy were delighted to be a part of the RAAFA Estate Meadow Springs market and open day. We enjoyed getting to know village residents, community members and service providers. We were so impressed by the amazing crafts and delicious goodies. Thank you to all the planners for their hard work organising the day. We look forward to seeing everyone again next year.

01.01.2022 Life Live It! Occupational Therapy consistently delights clients by our expertise on housing design and access and bathroom modifications. Our staff recently completed comprehensive training by PlanOT around planning installations and modifications to improve our clients safety and independence at home. We eagerly await continuing to present suitable options on home installations and modifications to our clients and working with them to make a decision that best suits their situation.
