25.01.2022 Good evening to our lovely families, We had a meeting today to discuss the current and progressing situation of COVID-19. Following this, we have decided with heavy hearts to bring Term 1 to an early close. This is effective from now, and means we wont be holding our workshops or 1:1 sessions for the remaining two weeks of Term 1. We are working on an online option for our families for Term 2, so please watch this space. We will be in touch once we have a better understandi...ng of what will be happening with schools and lock-down restrictions moving forward. We will miss our students terribly during this time you are all amazing kids and we know that you will be fine. Take this time as an opportunity to work hard and push yourselves in your studies. 20.01.2022 ****IMPORTANT NOTICE ABOUT CLASSES CANCELLED TUESDAY 12 NOVEMBER**** I am currently in Wollongong with my mum and grandmother, keeping an eye on possible fire danger in the area as they are both quite nervous. As I would need to leave mid afternoon to make it in time for tutoring, I have decided to cancel our group classes this evening as my drive home is straight through the national park. 15.01.2022 Good evening to our students and their families, We just wanted to provide you all with a quick update on what we are doing at Lifelong Learners to minimise the spread of any illnesses or germs in light of the concerns surrounding COVID-19. As per our current policy - please do not send your child to tutoring if they are unwell, or are showing signs or symptoms of illness. ... Our seating arrangements will be so that the students will be spread across both tables to increase the working space between. This will mean that there is a maximum of 3 students per table at any one time. Please BYO pencils/pens/crayons/textas/highlighters in a small pencil case. You will not need a large variety of colours etc. Just a few to allow work to be completed. Some of our hands on activities will be altered or ceased until the virus has run its course. For example - the use of playdough will now no longer be available for our younger students. That is all for now - if you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to ask.
