20.01.2022 Did you know bleach doesnt kill mould? It can help to get rid of the unsightly staining but at a cost of your health. The reason bleach doesnt work is because mould spores release a toxic gas retaliating against the bleach, and while the bleach removes the staining, the mould is still alive and will grow back. Protect your body from toxic bleach getting in your lungs and kill mould with this handy spray. 80% Vinegar... 20% water 10drops Tea Tree oil (I ALWAYS add Clove Oil as well - Clove is amazing at killing those mould spores!!) Spray onto the surface leave for 20min then wipe. You can also spray straight vinegar directly on areas which form mould and leave to dry naturally to try to stop any growth happening too. A dry shower is ideal, if you leave it wet, and your room has no ventilation it is more likely to come back, drying the shower, ensuring ventilation and use this spray to stop mould from growing) But what if it is already stained like this shower? What we do is if there are stains is I get hubby to just redo the silicone then I ensure I am keeping it clean so mould wont return. Fill up your kitchen sink@with cold water, add a teaspoon of bicarb, and a few drops of LEMON Essential Oil (I use about 6 drops). Pop your fruit in and let it soak for a bit.
