25.01.2022 In case you hadn't heard the news Plant 3 Bowden is on the way.

24.01.2022 Wishing you and yours a very VERY happy new year. Though this year has brought more trials and tribulations than we possibly could've imagined it sure was one for reflection and community. We're incredibly thankful for you all. See you in the New Year. Pic by artist Adeltritus

24.01.2022 Want to make Bowden home but not sure apartment living is for you? Introducing Guild Terraces. These townhouses are designed to meld the indoors and outdoors seamlessly together with their private courtyards, bright balconies and relaxing gardens. Imagine having your own light-filled, spacious oasis to relax from the excitement of the outside - take a look for yourself.

24.01.2022 Though we're sad that the party at Oddio Bowden has stopped for the season, we know it's for the best. Why? Because it's harvest! Meaning the team are busy working away at the next vintages of Delinquente Wine Co, Giovanni Armani Giorgio and Frederick Stevenson wines. Having a winery here in Bowden is the BEST. Happy grape squishing team.

24.01.2022 You asked and we listened! Adding to the landscape and lifestyle of Bowden, we can finally announce construction is about to begin for a childcare centre. 22.01.2022 Annnnnd relaaaaax. Happy National Relaxation Day everyone. With everything going on in the world lately, we think this is probably an important one to celebrate. For us today will be a stroll around Bowden Town Park, grabbing some ingredients from the IGA and cooking up a lovely meal to enjoy on the balcony. How will you be relaxing?

22.01.2022 Do you know what Wednesday means? It means ridiculous cheap $20 stone grill at The Brompton Hotel. What more could you want for a winter night? Never fear if you've got plans. Tomorrow is $18 schnitty night. And EVERY weeknight there's happy hour. Week = sorted.

21.01.2022 The Park Central mural is fast taking shape. We love seeing this come together and can't wait to see the finished masterpiece!

21.01.2022 Community gardens are popular little things, and rightfully so. But you don't have to get yourself on a wait list to enjoy them. The Park Terrace Community Garden will welcome you with open arms and probably quite dirty hands.

21.01.2022 An Indigenous food garden is planned for Bowden’s Guild Terraces reserve, in recognition of the region’s rich Kaurna heritage and ongoing cultural importance. Through a collaboration between Renewal SA and Kaurna elders, the garden will help residents and visitors understand the nutritional and medicinal benefits of plant species that are native to the Adelaide Plains and that are likely to have been found in the Bowden area. Photo: Quandongs are a traditional bush food of the Kaurna people. Eaten fresh or dried, they are a rich source of antioxidants. Credit: Tourism Australia.

12.01.2022 From the mouths of babes. Students from Brompton Primary School have lent their voice to the design of the public realm within the Bowden Heritage Precinct. It turns out they had a lot to say. We’re taking it all in, ensuring that the views of local children and those who it will belong to in the future, are heard alongside that of the adult community.

07.01.2022 Say hey to your new neighbours. Though there are still some excellent opportunities to be snapped up at Guild Terraces, some of your new neighbours are moving in. Emma and Jonathon decided Bowden was the place for their future after having brekky at Plant 4 Bowden. "We also wanted to spend the next chapter of our lives getting out and about, socialising, going cycling, travelling and having new experiences, Emma said. Welcome guys! We're so happy to have you here. Read their full story!

07.01.2022 LOVE this history from Centred Ground Physiotherapy & Yoga. "A bit of History... When Centred Ground first opened, we had a lovely visit from Les, who shared his memory of living at 54 Gibson Street - the home of Centred Ground - as a 4 year old. Though date stamped at 1901, when the shopfront was constructed, this building holds 130+ years of history within Bowden.... Greengrocer; Boot & Shoemaker; Brickmaker; Confectionary & Fancy Goods; Refreshment Rooms. No. 54 changed hands (and uses) 25 times from 1887- 1990. Les grew up here (in the 50s) with his sister, while his parents Robert Elmore and Dorothy Clarice ran the grocery store. He talked of the stables up the back of the property (now car park) and feeding carrots to the Clydesdales, of playing down in the cellar and his kindergarten over the road in the (now) Conroy’s factory. It was also once the home of Levi Groves, a tanner, who built the Tanners’ Arms originally in Sixth Street, which later moved to Fifth and Park Terrace to become the Park View Hotel, and now Jarmer's Kitchen. Nestled amongst the new builds of Bowden and 200m from Plant 4 Bowden, I love the character and history of this building. It’s warm, homely and welcoming. Come and visit anytime "
