10.01.2022 CODE RED URGENT FOSTER CARER NEEDED Our most handsome big floppy earred boi PISCO SOUR is about to become a homeless hound ... Sadly this big baby elephant is doing his current foster bro a stress and causing some stress-induced health issues. Tomorrow morning PISCO will be temporarily relocated to the North Shore of Sydney for a sleep over with my very own Grandma and Great Grandma. BUT this is only a temporary fix as dis boi needs a more suited doggy home. ARE YOU IN SYDNEY and CAN YOU PLEASE HELP? Pisco is a 12 month old bloodhound mix. He is pretty chill for a teenager but will need continuing force free training to ensure he remains a good canine citizen. Pisco gets on well with other dogs, he is currently in care with another hound but is best suited to other large breeds because he’s around 38kgs and a bit silly. Any potential carers or forever fams need to be reasonably dog savvy, he’s a sensitive guy at times and is still learning about the big wide world. He is best suited to a chill home. A foster to adopt situation is ideal, we want more than anything for Pisco to find his perfect match so if you are on the fence about adopting, try fostering first! Location: Pisco is currently in Sydney and is only available to foster in NSW or Victoria. Pisco does have hip issues and his new carers will need to be aware of his exercise limitations. We will of course give anyone interested a complete run down of his needs. Life of Pikelet will cover all basic costs like food and vet care for the duration of his time in foster. 06.01.2022 Please enjoy this video of baby Parfait hanging out with some of her sisters in her new forever home. Just a refresher that Parfait is a purebred Staffy puppy born with a bilateral cleft lip and a dodgy back leg that’ll need amputation. Parfait and her twin sister Patè were surrendered to Life of Pikelet at a few days old. They were tube fed and incubated until 8 weeks of age. Both girls are incredibly, ridiculously gentle, which is something we find a regular occurrence ...with hand raised neonates here at Life of Pikelet. #trynottosqueeeeeeeee #rescuedwithlove
