25.01.2022 I have a few newborn sessions coming up as I ease back into working again- how is my baby almost 5 months old?! Newborn sessions are so sweet and calm, that’s mainly because I insist on doing it in the families home environment. You shouldn’t have to run around and stress out about getting to a location on time... also I think it’s important so you can look back at those photos and remember what your house was like in those early days of babies, before renovations or moving into bigger homes and all the changes life throws our way over the years. I can’t wait to meet all my little baby clients next month

20.01.2022 I wish I could say our iso life hasn’t been filled with technology but sadly with a newborn to feed and change and soothe its inevitable that our little two year old (going on twenty!) gets to play games on her iPad. Anyone else feeling this?!

13.01.2022 All the feels for this right now! When we had Hazel, Mae had to follow us from room to room and be with her 24/7! She was desperate for her to take a dummy so she could be a mummy just like she did with her dolls. Poor Hazel WAS NOT keen on the dummy and every time it went in her mouth she projectile vomited Such a special and exciting time for a family bringing a new little babe home... I absolutely LOVED capturing this family. They were the perfect mix of chilled and calm!

Sometimes you meet people in life who you just click with, and Emma has certainly become more than just a client for me. I had the best time filming and photographing her family My heart is being pulled towards filming as of late, and more specifically filming families. I’m still nutting out all the final details to introduce this into my business, and I will share more information soon. 06.01.2022 Let me tell you the truth- this little dude had zero interest in me taking his photo. Like, zero. Would you believe he had this old film camera and after a few silly shots became my best friend?! I tell this story because if you are wanting a shoot but thinking your child won’t be ‘well behaved’- please don’t! ... I’m an early childhood teacher, I have seen all types of kids and all the little quirks they have and I absolutely embrace it!
