Intervals are considered to be one of the most efficient ways to improve athletic performance before a race!... This is suitable for everyone from beginners to advanced athletes looking to improve their fitness. Why not give it a go? 1:30 minutes of each exercise, and 1:30 minutes of rest, it's all at your own pace, but of course you should try and go as fast as you can for some of the rounds

08.01.2022 Its been 2 weeks since the announcement that ultimately changed the way many of us live and work - how is everyone going? The world health organization still suggests that adults should aim for 30-45 min of physical exercise daily. Now more than ever this is important. Exercise is not just about aerobic capacity and muscle size. People who exercise regularly tend to do so because it gives them an enormous sense of well-being. They feel more energetic throughout the day, sleep... better at night, have sharper memories, and feel more relaxed and positive about themselves and their lives. It can also aid positively in many mental health issues. How are you getting your 30 minutes a day? You might have a home gym set up, a couple of pieces of equipment or it could simply be a walk with the kids/dog/ partner. Whatever it is, I can guarantee whatever you do as long as you do it consistently you will feel a difference. 08.01.2022 Need some technique coaching? We can help you From begginers like Ash here, to advanced athletes, everyone has something to improve! Ash started at Life's Peachy Fitness a couple of weeks ago and is working on building strength and muscle, and her deadlift form . . We are working on getting her shoulder position back, but apart from that she is pretty on point now and will be ready to start progressing her weight soon .... . Deadlift Cues: Feet under the bar, bend the knees so shins touch the bar, grab the bar with hands about shoulder width apart, keeping the shoulders back, chest up and bum up so the spine is neutral, push the floor away from you, standing up, driving with the glutes! Keep that bar on the legs to lower it down, pushing your bum backwards, bending the knees once the bar gets to the shin. If the bar is too heavy to stay in good form, simply don't lift it. And counteract deadlifts with dead hangs and bent over rows . . . Do you love a deadlift? @ Lifes Peachy Fitness

06.01.2022 With everyone's routines thrown into the air it can seem hard to fit in your exercise around work and kids. A great way to break up your day and ensure you move your body is to break it down into smaller chunks- usually do 60min? Make it 3 x 20min blocks. ... It's easier to achieve, keeps you moving throughout the day, is enough time to sweat but not too long the kids get over it and it can be more effective as being short bursts you can go harder We have some pretty good 15-20min workouts so if you would like to give one a try let me know and I'll send you through a little taster #lifespeachy
