25.01.2022 What a great day's riding today. Bundarra, Bingara, Myall Creek, Delungra, Copeton Dam and back to Bundarra. Dale had an extra trip from and back to Inverell. 250km for me, 340km for Dale. He is truely an inspiration.

19.01.2022 Still waiting on word from the NDIS Commission regarding my accreditation. It's been a frustrating wait of almost 12 months since my initial audit. I'm so pleased that I'm still able to support those who are self or plan managed - providing tailored support to participant's individual needs whilst maintaining their current lifestyle. I love what I do!!

18.01.2022 I'm loving what I do - helping others. But, I'm getting frustrated at the red-tape of the NDIS and waiting to be paid. As if the drought isn't bad enough. If I owed the government money (even a small amount) they'd send out debt collectors - totally different story when they owe you (and it's not a small amount)!!

16.01.2022 Completed my audit process through the NDIS Commission's registered Auditor in September last year. Spoke to the NDIS Commission yesterday and they are still processing my application. Apparently there is a massive backlog in new applications - which have priority. For those who are wanting services from Lifestyle Carers and are agency managed - I'm sorry but I'm still waiting for accreditation. Timeframe - UNKNOWN. It's very frustrating!!!!

15.01.2022 During the uncertainty of the current Covid 19 crisis, Lifestyle Carers continues to provide services to its NDIS participants. All contracted carers have completed the Department of Health online training course regarding Covid 19 as recommended by the NDIS Commission. As changes to operational regulations progress, Lifestyle Carers will take the situation one-day-at-a-time and assess and monitor any changes to service provision that may be required. The health and safety ...of all participants and contractors are of our utmost priority whilst maintaining services to those who we support. This situation is unprecedented and will increase our opportunity to enhance risk assessment processes into the future. Hang in there everyone, we will get through this situation. 09.01.2022 Nine and a half hours whipper snipping and mowing done at home on the farm today. Enjoying a well earned scotch and dry now. Looking forward to a long ride tomorrow on my motorbike with a client on his trike. Another way Lifestyle Carers supports participants to maintain their lifestyle during this difficult time - getting out and about doing what he loves.

05.01.2022 Tickets and baggage labels printed for 7 night cruise with a client in April. We are both looking forward to a relaxing and fun filled holiday. Another way Lifestyle Carers supports clients to fulfill their life goals - supported holidays.
