16.01.2022 Yesterday I was fortunate to chat with Amanda Smith from @abcradionational on the benefits of outdoor group personal training and outdoor exercise in general. I love outdoor training for so many reasons. Whether it be organised group personal training, running with a friend, hiking or trekking a mountain. We all know the physical benefits of exercise. There are also many mental health benefits of training outdoors as well as the social health benefits of organised group ex...ercise and training with friends. That’s why our group has always been #morethanjusttraining. At the moment in Victoria we have restrictions in place and need to social distance. However we are still extremely lucky that we can get outside in the fresh air and sunshine for our dose of daily exercise. Just because we have to social distance doesn’t mean we have to ignore each other. Next time you are out exercising don’t forget to say hi or give a smile to someone that walks past. You don’t know how isolated they might be, if they have just closed their business, are struggling with home schooling or are just going through a tough time. 11.01.2022 Reminiscing of travel and two years ago on the day we completed the unforgettable @tourdumontblanc trek. . . A 12 day 170km adventure through the absolutely gorgeous countryside and mountain villages of France , Italy and Switzerland . Combine this with a special and fun group of humans, beautiful local produce , amazing wines and delicious coffee (maybe not so much in Switzerland )...it was the ultimate trek for anyone that loves adventure, food, wine and the b...eauty of nature . . Thinking of all our amazing group today that experienced this adventure with us in 2018.
