16.01.2022 I’m 67. The longer I live, the more people I personally know that are meeting Jesus for eternity. I’m closer to my death date today than I am my birth date. ...It’s sobering. It should move us to want to not leave things undone or unsaid. This week, a good friend, Timothy Tipitat walked into Heaven! We’ve walked together, dreamed together, laughed together, and wept together over this broken world. He was one of the most honoring and respectful men I know. His footprint will be hard to fill. He led a nation (Papua New Guinea) to impact a part of the world (South Pacific) in ways that will live beyond his earthly life. They are transforming education and medical care in Nee Guinea. The Gospel gave them a transformative vision for their nation. I’ve been there. Timothy and his wife, and several prominent leaders of that nation stood on the side of the runway as I landed in a prop plane. Some were dressed in their native dress. Their love for Timothy, their respect for him, and their willingness to follow his lead in transforming their part of the world, leaves a shining example for all of us. Leave something others can replicate. Leave influence not regrets. It said in the Bible when a community influencer Dorcas died, people wept. May your life touch people in a way that you’ll be missed, but celebrated. Loved this man!!! See more

08.01.2022 Great Devotion by President Randy Remington) In His moment of suffering, Jesus, the Son of God, required the help of a random bystander. A certain man from Cy...rene, Simon, the father of Alexander and Rufus, was passing by on his way in from the country, and they forced him to carry the cross (Mk. 15:21, NIV). Jesus, the Creator, allowed a created being to help Him carry His cross. This humility as an attribute of God is unexpected and revealing. It’s always startling when God doesn’t act like God. Jesus could have powered up and revealed His divine muscles. But He didn’t. By setting aside His rightful claim as God, He expressed humanity’s need for others. Jesus needed help on the journey, just as we do, also. The fact that we know this man’s name gives credence to the story. It’s as if the Gospel writers were saying, Find him and ask him. Imagine being in a room with Simon, and the murmur of hushed voices begins to spread. That’s himthe cross-bearer. Simon’s is a unique and singular testimony. He helped Jesus carry His cross. However, we share this testimony as our own whenever we help bear the cross of others because we do so as if it were Jesus Himself whom we are serving. Christianity isn’t a solo sport. Sometimes we can seemingly withstand the most difficult of circumstances, and in other moments, we need the assistance of others. You are not alone in your journey. There are others, and they have names and stories. Sometimes, you need Simon to step out of the crowd and help you carry the burden you are staggering beneath. It is an honor to be Simon of Cyrene in someone’s life. Where can you step in and bear up under the weight that someone else is carrying so that they may continue on the road they have been called to travel? You may be helping someone, or someone may be helping you on this journey of discipleship and obedience. This is the way of humility, and this is the way of Jesus. By: Randy Remington, president of The Foursquare Church (U.S.)

05.01.2022 We are a movement founded by the fiercely passionate-for-Christ Aimee Semple McPherson who left her mark on the world in a legacy that continues to touch thousa...nds. We are a movement that empowers women as leaders in their faith communities, families and workplaces. We are a movement that licenses and ordains women as ministers, equipping them to preach, teach and share the gospel when they are called by God to do so. We are a movement that firmly believes in the central role of women in the fulfillment of the Great Commission. Today on #InternationalWomensDay, and every day, we are proud of Foursquare's history of women who are centered within their purpose and look forward to future generations of women who will be compelled by Jesus to lead a searching world to His love. #WeAreFoursquare

03.01.2022 I’m sure Daniel never imagined (when he was young) that his life would take the twisting turns that it did. He would be swept away to Babylon as a young, promi...sing Israelite. He would lose the presence of the daily Temple influence (a really big deal), lose his name, any self-choices over a career, and never return to see his homeland. These scenarios don’t seem to fit the promises God spoke over Abraham and his descendants. But here he is; celebrated today as one of the most influential leaders in the whole Bible. He was tenacious, resilient, innovative, courageous, and godly. Daniel influenced kings. He shaped a foreign nation and became a respected prophet in their midst. His life was marked by miracles and the affirmation of those in high places. He refused to become a victim. He never saw his misfortunes as a reason to lose hope. He never lived with regrets nor did he mourn over lost opportunities. He made the best of the hand he was dwelt. His life and attitude pleased the Lord. He positioned Israel for their future after Babylon, even though he would not love it. He was loved by kings and honored by men. I wonder how many futures today would be different for people, if they spent less time wondering or complaining, and spent more time determining that nothing will keep them down, or steal their joy, or rob them of God’s destiny, even if it looks different than they had imagined. God will turn all things for our good when we surrender to His purposes and focus our devotion on him. That leaves less time to be distracted by the things that happen to us and around us, that we never planned or expected. See more
