24.01.2022 TRUE BLUE SIGN + BRENT & MOLLY = PHOTO OPPORTUNITY We just HAD to stop into Croydon to get a photo with this sign! The TRUE BLUE sign! Right in town where the Croydon information centre is! AND, Yes... Molly had to stop in the info centre and get MORE brochures of the next destinations....... Anyone else do this??? She has to study where we are going next! Lucky she is the one with the brains! Anyways... We left Cobbold Gorge yesterday and drove all the way through Croydon & Normanton to get to Karumba!! Over a 5 hour drive!!! WE ARE EXHAUSTED!!!! We are planting our feet here for a few days that's for sure! But Croydon was nice! A town full of heritage that's for sure! Check it out on your travels! 24.01.2022 3 DAYS AT COBBOLD GEORGE FOR AN ULTIMATE OUTBACK ADVENTURE!!!! They call it a "village", and now we can see why! This place has everything you could ask for in an Outback Caravan Park Experience! We left Mt Suprise and decided to make our way out to Georgetown for a few days... we got there and sometimes it just happens... We change our plans spontaneously! ... So our instant plan was to head to Cobbold Gorge! We booked the van site, booked in our tours and that was us! 3 Days to enjoy this Outback paradise! We ordered a cheese platter from the restaurant for $15 last night and LOVED watching the sun go down at Quartz Blow Lookout! It was just magical! The Kangaroos running around, cows walking past, sitting down for our picnic! It was just bliss! AND... Today we have our Cobbold Gorge Tour so we can't wait to show you that! We have loved our stay, especially with the swim up bar in the infinity pool! The restaurant has amazing food and the caravan sites are huge drive through sites! Check this place out! 23.01.2022 I WONT EVER BUY A VAN WITHOUT A WASHING MACHINE A washing machine in the van is an absolute life saver!!! I do a load every day and seem to keep on top of it all. 2 adults and 2 children wearing lots of clothes each day whilst out exploring can make the washing pile literally pile up!... In our van we have a 5.0KG Front Loader Not many vans have this big. With the cost of an average $4 per load in a dryer / washing machine, it can really add up if you don't have one. Our 5kg washing machine can fit our kids whole sleeping bags, all our quilt covers etc in there... TIP: Just make sure when you have the washing machine on, you are outside the van - or the neighbours get a little suss about all the rocking and thumping it causes! 23.01.2022 IT'S TIME TO PLAN AGAIN WHERE WE ARE HEADING TO NEXT... Ideally we would love to be in SA by Christmas, so our plan is to leave Cairns on the 4th of October and either head and do the tablelands and then back up to start the amazing Savannah Way and over to NT, down to SA... OR... We skip the tablelands this time and head straight to NT. What do you all think?... We hear the Tablelands is just incredible, but we are keen to get to NT and can always do the Tablelands on our next lap up here! 23.01.2022 WE GOT SOME NEW COIL SPRINGS FOR OUR Y62 PATROL!! We chose the TrakRyder Pedders Suspension Coil Springs! We read up on them and seen some great reviews so decided to upgrade ours too!... Some Benefits we loved when we read up on them were: They enhance the ride, control, comfort, off road ability and traction of the car They increase ground clearance and articulation (the ability of the suspension to flex all four wheels onto the ground firmly, even when negotiating uneven terrain). They Boost towing and load carrying ability. They help minimise excessive "squat" (body tilts down in rear) when accelerating or when driving with a heavy load. They Minimise excessive diving (body tilts down in front) when braking. They reduce rear end sag under load carrying or towing conditions. They control and minimise body roll when cornering. They enhance the safety of the vehicle. And the prolong the life of the tyres You can find this info and more about them directly through Pedders Suspension! 23.01.2022 MUST READ FOR A BETTER LIFE!!! PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT should be the first thing you do in the morning and the last thing you do at night. By doing this I can guarantee you, you will have a better day than without it.... We listen to Delta waves going to sleep, and make it a priority to get some of the following into our daily routine: - Reading a book or listening to audio books - Practising gratitude - Catching our negative thoughts and replacing them by powerful opposites: "Everything is always working out for us!" In the last 3 years of becoming a successful entrepreneur I have learned the main factor is that your thoughts create your reality and ultimately your future. If you think you will fail, you will fail... If you think you're not worthy, or not inspiring, you won't be... If you think people won't buy... guess what? They won't! You have 2 choices everyday: 1. Fill your life with positivity, creativity, gratitude, abundance, joy, happiness and wealth.. 2. Keep doing the same thing, be negative, don't read more, don't learn more, don't try things, keep hating your job... Which one do you think will get you to a better state of mind and have you enjoying your days and others' day around you? 21.01.2022 HARTLEYS CROCODILE ADVENTURES!!! We ventured out today to check out this Ultimate Crocodile Experience! We were very impressed!!! Especially the Crocodile boat tour! ... The sound of those crocodile jaws chopping when they were trying to get their feed was intense!! The kids loved, and Brent of course (animal whisperer) seeing all the animals this place has to offer! 21.01.2022 OH I COULD SIT ON THIS BEACH FOREVER WITH MY LITTLE FAMILY After being up to the most Northern point in Queensland & slowly making our way down to all the beautiful beaches, we have found that we are falling in LOVE with Port Douglas! If you have seen our stories & golive on our Facebook page recently you would have seen we are staying at an incredible Million Dollar Villa for the last few nights, leaving tomorrow... in Port Douglas.... We have actually stopped sight seeing and just spent our last few days here on this beach, by the pools, or in our villa loving the space and incredible place that are on offer to us right now. Port Douglas has got to be a favourite spot of ours so far. The shops, the streets, the restaurant, the beaches, the atmosphere.. it is just a great beach location. Our children had so much fun exploring all of the areas, climbing on the logs, jumping in the puddles, hiding in the grass cubby houses!... What a great place to pop in, chill out and watch them play on a busy Saturday Morning! After they have had a play you can go check out the beautiful Botanical Gardens & run through the park! 18.01.2022 SOME TIPS FROM OUR TRIP TO THE CAPE!!!! If its windy don't bother about the East Coast - your tents will shake all night and you will only get a few hours sleep Make sure you pack lots of rubbish bags as to take your rubbish with you to put in bins, and they are great for dirty clothes... ... Speaking of clothes... JUST pack DARK clothes... White clothes will no longer be white! Expect to get dirty and not have a shower for a day or 2... Especially whilst free camping (unless you pack your own shower) Pack lots of Baby wipes and cleaning wipes!! They are a life saver! Punsand Bay was most expensive place to stay, but one of the nicest! Alau Beach was the whitest sand we found, but a noisy park with lots of wild dogs & horses roaming around Weipa was amazing, take your fishing rods and yes - you can take alcohol... We heard all these rumours about Weipa being an alcohol free area. There probably is some spots you can't go like the local communities, but just steer clear of them. Get out some cash, or have money on your card (not in your savings like we keep ours), not much reception to transfer money at times! Fill up every fuel stop even if you don't need it. Just incase you decide to go on the Tele Track and then you're stuck and have a low tank. Take lots of water! We didn't drink any water from any of the taps so we can't comment on them, but from what we seen a lot of the taps were bore water. Kings Rooftop Camper - AMAZING!!! We loved it and fit the 4 of us nicely. Get a fan, and don't bother about blankets, sheets are enough (king size) If you can, get some tubs for food, or drawers for your car so you have some organisation for food! It helps a lot especially when your driving on the tracks. DUST HOLES! SLOW DOWN for them. They come up as fast as you clean up in them! Be very careful and take it slow. Apart from that! 16.01.2022 WE DID A DAY TRIP OUT TO COPPERFIELD GORGE & EINASLEIGH PUB!! Have you ever been swimming in a Gorge? We sure had not!... What an experience.. not going to lie, we were packing it on the drive out there from Mt Suprise... Dirt tracks, nothing but bush around us, no other cars, Cows, Emus & us.... But we made it! We drove to Copperfield Gorge where we again tested ourselves in our first Gorge Swim! Again Extremely nervous as we had no idea what to expect... We had never done anything like this swim before... usually its beaches & pools for us in the City. So this was one amazing experience! Clear water, deep waters, fish & amazing colours from the Gorge! Nice & safe to swim with no Crocs! After our swim we then drove back into town and had a delicious Pub feed at the Einasleigh Pub! 15.01.2022 WE LOVE OUR KINGS ROOFTOP BUT WE OFFICIALLY MISS OUR LUXURIOUS CARAVAN! On Day 9 of our trip to the Cape we decided to leave the tip and head down to Weipa! In Weipa we scored a Beachfront Family Villa for 3 nights!!!... Oh my gosh... the space! Its funny how much in life we actually take for granted... a decent table and chairs, washing machine, dryer, running tap water, a decent shower and best of all.... a Queen bed all to our own!!!! It was so nice to chill out for a few days, have a car, travel where we wanted and not have to reset up the rooftop in the arvo again! Travel Safe Brent & Molly The Lifestyle Hustlers

12.01.2022 BURKETOWN FOR THE NIGHT ON THE ALBERT RIVER - YES IT HAS CROCS!!!! After a long days driving on dirt road today from Karumba, we arrived nice & safe at Burketown! We found it on WikiCamps & it's right on the banks of the Albert River!... $35 a night for this site, no power or water... AND the river is full of big Salty Crocs! Let's just say we are keeping the children locked in the Van all arvo!!! & definitely just staying for the 1 night!! Nice spot for a stop over in Burketown instead of the Caravan Park thats for sure! 11.01.2022 CAPE TRIBULATION & DAINTREE RAINFOREST = PERFECTION On Wednesday we made our way out of the Villa & decided to go site seeing! Destination to: NORTH ... We drove 1.5 hours right up to Cape Tribulation from Port Douglas, and I guess you can tell from this photo, we were pretty excited to be standing there on that beautiful beach! It was a rainy, overcast day so we didn't get out of the car too much on the drive but I could just imagine spending a few days in the Daintree Rainforest, then heading to the Cape Trib beach for the day, eating the amazing Daintree Ice-creams, & going horse riding on Cape Trib Beach! 09.01.2022 COBBOLD GORGE + GLASS BOTTOM BRIDGE OVER THE GORGE + BOAT TOUR THROUGH THE GORGE!! Yesterday was one of the best tours we have done yet! Here at the Cobbold Gorge Outback Village is where we left for our tour. We were booked in for the 1.30pm tour (try get on the early one if you can! It was so hot!) and left in the Cobbold Gorge Coach that took us right up.... We started with a 1 hour 15min bush walk, learning about all the different trees, what bush trees are poisonous, what you can eat, the poisonous vines, lets just say we are so glad we learnt this for the safety of our family! We walked up and around the sacred aboriginal areas that we weren’t allowed to photograph, and then we then came up to the new Glass Bottom Bridge! I am very scared of heights and bridges that I have to walk over, but this one was one hell of an experience that I didn’t freak out too much on!! Walking over that bridge was just amazing, a few people in the group seen some fresh water crocodiles on the rocks and we walked over just in time as the other group was going under it on the boat! (Oh and check out our blue socks - so we didn't scratch the glass with our shoes! Cute... right?!) That meant then a walk back down the bottom of the Gorge and we were up next for the boat! On the Boat tour we learnt all about the Sandstone walls and all the different layers, the animals living in the gorge, YES I did say fresh water crocs before! AND snakes, spiders, butterflies and more! It was an amazing experience, one that we are excited to tick off our bucket list that’s for sure! 09.01.2022 BEAUTIFUL BEACHES, BLUE WATER, & BRENT WITH HIS BUBBLES! This pic was taken at one of my favourite places so far... Port Douglas! It was truely an amazing place to be at! We miss the villa but are so happy to be back home in our Van. ... The city streets, the beautiful beaches, the shopping.. oh the list goes on. I have always had a bit of a block when someone asks us "Where has been your favourite place yet?" I can now say, Port Douglas! 08.01.2022 WE ALMOST LOST OUR DRONE JUST TO GET THIS PICTURE!!!! They call it Windy Wind Farm - and now we know why! We jumped out of our car and almost got blown away.... Brent just couldn't resist getting an epic shot tho, windy or no wind... He was so determined! Where is this place?? Windy Hill Wind Farm is a Wind Power Station near Ravenshoe right on the Atherton Tableands. Windy Hill has 20 Wind Turbines with a generating capacity of 12 MW of electricity that provides enough power for about 3,500 homes. 06.01.2022 UNDARA LAVA TUBES & EXPERIENCE We arrived here after venturing through the Tablelands and felt like we were out in the middle of no where already!! What an amazing spot!... Undara Volcanic National Park! Undara Lava Tubes Tour & Caravan Park! Kalkani Crater! Now for the Undara Lava Tubes... Been here? Heard of it? We stayed at Undara Experience Caravan Park on a nice big drive though site. The Park is full of old Train carriages that you can either have accomodation in, or chill out in the community bar/restaurant area! Wake up to the sound of kookaburras, magpies & see the kangaroos all throughout the park. What a true bush experience it was. You can book in to have a Buffet all you can eat True Bush Breakfast, or a sit down dinner at the Restaurant in the Train Carriages! Now for the tour! Oh my! What a fantastic 2 hour tour. We got on a bus from the caravan park with the guide who took us out to the Lava Tubes. The history behind the Lava tubes is just incredible, from how it was all created, to how long they are, to how many there are! We highly suggest doing this tour if you are out this way. Cost: We paid approx $250 for: Powered Site for 2 nights & Undara Lava Tube Experience Tour - 2 Adults, 1 Infant, 1 Child. The Kalkani Crater you can walk around or drive a bit around it! 04.01.2022 I FINALLY GOT MY SPA BATH AFTER 12 MONTHS! People ask me all the time what do you miss most about not having a house? My answer is always the same.... I miss having a bath!... 12 months ago we decided to sell our home and adventure around this incredible country we now call home. 12 months yesterday was the day we left our home for the new owner, & moved into our new home.. our Caravan. It has been 12 months of showers in caravan parks, and showers in our caravan.. but I havent yet found anywhere that had a bath. What a coincidence it was that we booked this incredible luxury Beach Villa here in Port Douglas and what did I get? My bath... but even better... this HUGE SPA BATH IN MY BEDROOM!!! Oh the excitement I have... you can tell by my face in this pic that I just loved every minute... especially because I shared it with my babes! 02.01.2022 TODAY MARKS 12 MONTHS LIVING IN OUR CARAVAN FULL-TIME! I remember the day so well, we were so excited we couldn't sleep the night before... It was the day we picked up our caravan, our new home, our new place, which was going to take us around this beautiful country. We picked up our caravan 12 months ago today.... 12 months has gone soooo fast!!! I can't believe it! It seems like yesterday that we pulled the plastic off our mattress & made our bed for the first time. In the last 12 months, we have been to most Northern tip of Australia (The Cape) and to the most Southern tip of Australia (Wilson Prom). Now it's time to head East and West!!! We can't wait to see where the next 12 months will bring us. All we know is it will absolutely bring so much happiness, memories, fun and adventure. What a special milestone for us to share today. 02.01.2022 SUNSET AT THE CAIRNS MARINA MADE BRENT WANT TO TRAVEL OZ.... IN A BOAT!!! Brent's dream has always been to Lap Oz in the Van... BUT THEN... he wants to sail and do the lap around Australia again but from the Ocean, Marina to Marina... I am totally not with him on this one. Usually we love everything similar, but this one isn't for me... Or so I think ATM.... As we were walking down the Marina last night, he said "Mol, let's get a boat after the van and do the trip around Oz from the boat". I want to know... Who has set around Australia on a boat? 01.01.2022 WE SNORKELLED & WENT ON A GLASS BOTTOM BOAT TOUR OVER THE GREAT BARRIER REEF!!! Its someones Birthday tomorrow!! Mollys!! Yesterday, for her special early birthday present... I took her and the kids out on the Quicksilver Great Barrier Reef Tour out to the Pontoon in the big blue sea, where we had an awesome day together!... We could go snorkelling, diving, sun baking, on a helicopter, and also out on a glass bottom boat that toured around the reef! Molly LOVED it! Her and the kids had a great time trying to spot Nemo & Dory together & I did some snorkelling! We all enjoyed a hot & cold buffet out on the reef & also checked out the under water observatory! 01.01.2022 WE LOVED OUR LUXURY BEACH VILLA.. BUT NOW IT'S BACK TO LIFE IN OUR CARAVAN! Today we are heading back to our Caravan. After 16 days living it up at Cape York, Weipa & Port Douglas, it's time now to go back to our home on wheels. Life for the last 15 days has been a rollercoaster full of adventure, laughs, tears & excitement.... We have roughed it massively in our Roof Top Camper & lived it up in a Luxury 500sqm Villa. I've had a massive temptation of wanting to settle down again in a house but my Mother & Husband both said "Molly you live too much in the present with what you want... Just enjoy the dream you are living". It is so true tho, sometimes I forget that this is my normal life now.. Travelling Australia. I guess it just comes to down to what most people say...
