12.01.2022 This is Callum Callum began his Lifestyle journey on work experience when in grade 12. He then spent time with us on a casual basis as a factory hand on several occasions, which eventually led to him being offered an apprenticeship. Callum is now in his second year and is always trying to advance his skills in his own time by making customised joinery such as coffee tables and tv units. 08.01.2022 This is Robert and Donna Robert and Donna de Jong are the Directors of Lifestyle. They commenced business in 1993. Prior to starting the business, Donna’s career couldn’t be further from different, she was a nurse. Robert on the other hand, comes from a family of builders, he worked with his late father, John de Jong, and their family business John de Jong Builders up until 1989. They then spent three years in Melbourne before moving back to Hobart. Robert and Donna have 3 ...sons, Mark, Rowen and Kurt, all whom are now married with children of their own. They enjoy their days off being Oma and Opa, but still work extremely hard within the business. Robert is usually on the road, visiting customers homes and providing quotes, although sometimes, when required, he will also help with a day or two of installing. Donna looks after all things HR etc. In 2018 they celebrated 25 years in business. What an achievement! Here's to the next 25!!!
