01.01.2022 The pandemic has brought with it a wave of mental health problems. In person help is difficult, so targeted online support like that offered by our free Allevi8... App becomes all the more valuable, and many are using it. However, good to know there is research evidence. This meta-analysis of 15 randomised controlled studies estimated the overall effects of online Mindfulness Based Interventions (MBIs) on mental health. Results showed that online MBIs have a small but significant beneficial impact on depression, anxiety, well-being and mindfulness. The largest effect was found for stress, with a moderate effect size. The researchers concluded online MBIs have potential to contribute to improving mental health outcomes. https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/27111302/ See more
