Tons of advantages: 1) The exact map area you need, nothing more 2) Choose your scale... 2) No map case needed 3) Waterproof and tearproof (really tough) 4) Save a ton of weight, especially if your route overlaps multiple full size maps This one is double-sided A3 and printed from maps exported out of @gaiagps - It weighs 31g!! That means 10 sides of A3 size maps for only 150g which could easily be enough for a couple of weeks adventuring.
