22.01.2022 What a whirlwind of a year it’s been already! In the spirit of transparency, it’s been incredibly challenging for me as a mama and now a wife! Sometimes I need to be kinder to myself and realise that I am a one woman show running Light Gloss Creative! I have amazing help from @dasha_cs and @lily_retoucher from time to time but 80% of the time, it’s me! Booking clients in, doing admin, doing the accounting, gallery deliveries, the customer service and hours to trying to seek i...nspiration whilst still trying to remain original and authentic. This last couple of months have been crazy. I married my best friend and father of my 3 beautiful babies (8 years in the making!) and survived a third lockdown in Melbourne, and most recently dealing with my trusty (or not so trusty!!!) laptop dying on me but throughout all the ups and downs, I have the most amazing, understanding and patient clients and for that i say THANK YOU! 18.01.2022 Wow 2020, what a year you have been. This year I gave birth to my 3rd baby, was forced into maternity leave for longer than expected due to lockdowns, survived a toilet paper shortage, learned that I had the ability to homeschool a grade 1, toilet train a 3 year old and still somehow managed to keep a newborn baby alive. Then straight back into shoots back to back since lockdowns ended and haven’t had a break since. It’s been an absolute wild ride. I think it’s safe to say au... revoir to 2020! . . . This was my last shoot for 2020 this year of the super glamorous Hay Family! How gorgeous are they?! And how cheeky is little man Dior, we were best buddies by the end of our session I just wanted to say thank you to every single one of my clients this year pre and post lockdown. You guys have kept me going even when all hope was lost! But most importantly thank you to my heavenly Father up high for blessing me and my business and family. Praise Adonai! . . . May 2021 bring us challenges that we can tackle on and learn how to navigate through choppy seas. 14.01.2022 After 9 days of Prodromal labour, its safe to say Im officially exhausted! Mentally, physically and emotionally. Its been a long week but I find solace looking back and reminiscing the beautiful baby shower that I was blessed with in preparation of this little peanut. Mummy will continue to wait patiently (and in a lot of strong contracting pain) for you my little peanut. 14.01.2022 Wow, 2019 you have flown by! I had no idea that I actually missed Light Gloss turning ONE in September! Blame it on the baby brain or being sick with pneumonia but Im back and ready to celebrate! I wanted to take this time and say a massive and heartfelt THANK YOU to all of my amazing clients!!!! Without you guys supporting my humble little business, it wouldnt have grown to the level that it is at in just one year. I wake up every morning still pinching myself that this is... my job, that I get to run my own business on my own terms and surround myself with the best people in the industry! Ive made so many amazing friends along the way who I have now consider my very close friends who have enjoyed this crazy ride with me! 01.01.2022 Wow after sharing a couple of pictures from last night’s session, my inbox and followers have blown up! Thank you to everyone who just joined in and I am so grateful for all your support! I really thought after making the decision not to work on Sabbath (Fri sunset-Sat sunset) that it would really affect my business but being obedient to the Kings of Kings has proven to only been positive.
