18.01.2022 What a way to start the New Year ! Thank you to all the wonderful people who graced the Lighthouse today. It was a truly super morning. Our great thanks to all the Mediums who stepped up and worked so generously and well to demonstrate their abilities. You all packed us to the rafters thankfully because there was an over abundance of food for lunch, so love also to all who provided sustenance. Safe Harbour was represented by Olive Wraight whose Church meets Sunday next on Mar...ine Drive Leschenault at Settlers Hall at 2 pm, Jan 17th, (1.30pm for healing). We are all of like mind and Spiritual beliefs so we should celebrate each other and support each other. United we stand but divided we fall. There is much in the world happy to cast us into shadow. Let's not feed it but place our bounties at the hearth of Light and those who strive to tend it. Be your best selves; only better and watch the Angels smile. See more

11.01.2022 Thank you to everyone who helped as it unfolded into a wonderful service. Bob and Ivan brought personal stories to the philosophy time and Carol Nelson was an unexpected gift. Carol and Kathleen shared the platform and brought through loving proof from Spirit. It was wonderful to reach so many people. Welcome to the new attendees and we hope you become regular faces and energy to the service and amazing fellowship after. I often ask "How much better can it get?" and Spirit fo...llows through with abundant blessings. from todays philosophy by Bob. The Rose Beyond The Wall Near a shady wall a rose once grew, Budded and blossomed in God's free light, Watered and fed by the morning dew, Shedding it's sweetness day and night. As it grew and blossomed fair and tall, Slowly rising to loftier height, It came to a crevice in the wall Through which there shone a beam of light. Onward it crept with added strength With never a thought of fear or pride, It followed the light through the crevice's length And unfolded itself on the other side. The light, the dew, the broadening view Were found the same as they were before, And it lost itself in beauties new, Breathing it's fragrance more and more. Shall claim of death cause us to grieve And make our courage faint and fall? Nay! Let us faith and hope receive-- The rose still grows beyond the wall, Scattering fragrance far and wide Just as it did in days of yore, Just as it did on the other side, Just as it will forever-more. And so it is.

07.01.2022 What an amazing and much blessed morning ! We welcomed Vicki Marriner as our guest Medium and she was truly wonderful. Her philosophy on going from KaaKaa to Truth and more was inspiring and uplifting with her true experiences also delighting us. She was beautifully joined by her daughter Mandy for the Mediumship. We so hope to see them both again in 2021. My great thanks to the Healing meditation as the whole congregation participated in an awesome gift giving of healing energy. AND ...What a way to end ... a Moari song of blessing . To see and feel love and gratitude made manifest in an amazing community of likeminded people is a joyous experience. May the Divine Creator bless you all in abundances to fill your hearts and homes and families and may Christmas be the happiest ever. Stay safe and well and know you are truly loved.

04.01.2022 We sadly say goodbye to Safe Harbour Spiritualist Church Australind as Olive Wraight retires. Olive has run churches on and off for 30 plus years beginning in the Denmark / Albany area. She has been driven to continue but at 90 years of age that road must end . We at Lighthouse wish her well and applaud her years of dedication. The closing of Spiritualist Churches seems to be common lately as the "Oldies" just get tired and step down often with grief as their banners are not ...taken up by younger arms. There is a void . Younger Spiritualists are not stepping up to run Services. Does this toll the death knell for our Churches ? Are our churches and centres not giving what they should ? Do our younger people not have the clear and strong belief in the faith ? I know I witness a decline or at least a stagnation in mediumship ability. Is that why we fail? The Lighthouse chose to be a Centre because "Church" with all it's connotations carries to so many people the essence and memories of contradiction and meanness. We are progressive because everything has changed; has grown. Spiritualism must not be held back from the growth of Spirit connection because of fear of change or naive attachment to tradition. Otherwise as people like Olive leave and young mediums flail around the edges of their ability and we just devolve into another monotonous religion we fail the seekers of true spiritual connection and they stay away in droves and all the doors shut forevermore and we will have failed.
