14.01.2022 Respiratory Clinic On Monday 11th May 2020, The Lighthouse Surgery will open as a Department of Health COVID 19 Respiratory Clinic. The respiratory clinic will help the local health care services taking the pressure off hospitals and general practices by providing dedicated treatment to people with mild-to-moderate symptoms of fever or sore throat, cough, fatigue or shortness of breath. Entry to the Clinic will be at the rear of the building and is completely seperate from... the surgery itself. Opening hours will be 1pm-5pm Monday to Friday initially, but may extend if required. 12.01.2022 The planning for the COVID 19 Vaccinations is still a work in progress as the Government are still working on the details. In Narooma, as we are currently a Respiratory Clinic for COVID 19 testing, we have been approved to be a Vaccine Centre, starting with Phase 1b and will be a priority for vaccine delivery in our area when they become available. We intend to run drive through clinics in both Narooma and Bermagui to deliver the vaccines to the community and we endeavour to ...update everyone as soon as possible. The annual Flu Vaccine Clinics will be run in a similar fashion, but please be aware that it is recommended that there be a 14-day gap between COVID 19 and Fluvax, and as such we will not be administering both vaccines on the same day. 07.01.2022 Prescriptions outside of consult If you require a prescription and it is a regular medication that has been prescribed by one of our doctors before, you may be eligible for the script to be written without a doctors consult. Our doctors are now offering E-scripts. An E-script is a message that is sent to your mobile phone containing a link which gives you access to your prescription as an electronic token. You simply present this message to your pharmacy and they are able to ...then dispense your medication. When requesting your prescription either by phone our via our website, please specify whether you would prefer an E-script or a paper script. If for any reason the doctor is unable to prescribe the medication without a consult, you will be contacted by our reception staff

03.01.2022 We have great news!!! Starting Tuesday 29th December and running through until the end of January, we will be extending our opening hours. Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday we will be open from 7am-7pm by appointment.... Tuesday we will open from 8:30am-7pm by appointment. Saturdays will remain the same opening from 9am-12 noon with no appointment necessary Please share so this service can be used by all of our patients and visitors to the area.
