One of the many questions she often gets asked by customers is about ceiling fans... Q: Should I use a remote control for my fan?... A: "It completely depends what your personal needs are for the room. DC fans are becoming more popular because they are quieter and more energy efficient, but they only come with a remote control. They are often more expensive than AC, but they are also easier and faster for electricians to install. On the other hand, if you are worried about losing the remote control or have kids who might play games with them, we recommend sticking with a wall control and using AC fans."
