23.01.2022 Continuing to plough through my photos from our journey to Nepal. Our penultimate destination in Nepal was Pokhara, where we got to see the mountains in their total glory and, as usual, some of the lovely locals. A place of stunning glory.

20.01.2022 Some of the results from this afternoon's processing that I'm pretty happy with... enjoying the nuances of light and shadow in the black and white, but it's always hard when I know how bright and vibrant the original scene was so I popped in one for comparison. These lovely people lived in Bungamati, a small village in the Kathmandu valley which experienced significant damage and where 27 deaths were reported. I hope these guys were ok.

10.01.2022 A lovely piece written by Ami Streeter on what she thought of having the birth of her third baby recorded by a pro photographer... http://www.puffpieces.com.au/birth-photography/ Thanks Ami, a lovely article. Anyone who is interested in having the birth of their next baby photographed, please contact me!

04.01.2022 Well just trying to catch up after last week's storm and power outages. Although we were lucky with no damage to our house, the lack of power for several days certainly puts the kybosh on my routine. Just thought I'd post the images from my last shoot with the AIPP - Reflections project. Stuart Marlin and I drove up to Tea Gardens and Hawks Nest to photograph some WWII veterans for this project and I just love the images I got along with some of the stories. Can't wait to get out and shoot some more. Please share this with others who might know of WWII veterans and might want to be involved; they can register on the AIPP website... Please help us get the word out by sharing this post, or searching for AIPP reflections on facebook and 'liking' that page and sharing appropriately.

02.01.2022 Have just confirmed my next birth shoot with a beautiful mother to be over coffee this morning; we're both very excited and hopefully bubs arrives before I go on a week's holidays early October...I just love shooting the drama and love present during the arrival of a baby. Let me know if you'd like me there to document your baby's arrival! Or think about incorporating a full package including a maternity shoot and even a newborn shoot!
