22.01.2022 Come along and be a part of the fashions, fun and festivities that make the Easter weekend in Lightning Ridge the social highlight of the year! It will be a fantastic day out at the Lightning Ridge Easter Races with a great day of racing, a jumping castle for the kids and the popular Fashions on the Field. The racecourse provides a bar and betting facilities along with catering services available on course throughout the day.... This year all entrants into the Fashions on the Field competitions will go into the draw to win a nights accommodation at the Abel Tasman Motor Inn in Dubbo along with Dinner at Two Doors Tapas and Wine Lounge. We have loads of great prizes to win thanks to our sponsors, Lost Sea Opals, Abel Tasman Motor Inn, Blowes in Dubbo, Thomas Sabo, Wilgunya Merino Stud, Myer in Dubbo, Lily M Millinery and Maree Breuer of Lightning Ridge. 11.01.2022 The Ridge Race committee would like to inform all ticket holders that we have been informed today (1st April) due to heavy rain fall recently the track has been deemed unsafe to run races. Race day will continue as normal- Bar, food & fashions.. just missing the horses! We would love to see you all trackside, however, if you pre paid tickets & would prefer a refund please request via eventbrite.... We thank each & everyone of you for your support & believe we can still hold a memorable day at the track.
