21.01.2022 Shops catering for hypersensitive people: store lights are dimmed and in-store music, the public address system and display monitors showing advertisements are switched off.
21.01.2022 Great video showing that a child may be able to see the bottom line on an eye chart but have many issues that could effect their vision in a classroom situation. Fantastic for parents and teachers to watch.
21.01.2022 Up to 90% of people who have had a traumatic brain injury (such as concussion) have been found to experience post-trauma visual complications, such as blurred vision, sensitivity to light, reading difficulty, headaches with visual tasks, and difficulties with eye movements. These visual dysfunctions can be supported with lenses and / or vision therapy. For a clearer version of the attached info sheet, see https://noravisionrehab.org//patien/downloadable-resources
21.01.2022 Knowing that some of the children that I work with could really benefit from taking a moment to connect with their bodies and be truly still, I asked Alexis Stewart if she would record a meditation for them to do at home. She not only recorded one for children, but another two for adults who equally need space to be still in this non-stop crazy busy world. See her gorgeous web page for a snippet of what is available - you may even choose to purchase one this holiday season, and rest deeply.
20.01.2022 Its time to say yes to flexible learning, say yes to valuing individual expression, and say a big YES to the child with the green tinted brush!

16.01.2022 The Helix nebula (The God's Eye Nebula), lies 650 light-years away, in the constellation of Aquarius. It is the remains of a star that once looked a lot like our sun. Our sun will blossom into a planetary nebula when it dies in about five billion years
14.01.2022 Looking into the eyes of our children, or feeling the tension in their bodies when giving them a hug, at the end of a school day ought to be very revealing of the state of our education system.....

04.01.2022 A British teenager has gone blind after developing nutritional optic neuropathy by eating a diet of only junk food for years. Since primary school, he ate nothi...ng but hot chips, white bread, potato chips, ham and sausage and by the time he was properly diagnosed, his vision was permanently impaired Bristol Eye Hospital doctors said the fussy eater visited doctors at age 14 and was treated for anaemia and low vitamin B levels but by 15 hed developed hearing loss and vision problems, and by 17 he had gone blind. They said nutritional optic neuropathy should be considered in any patient with unexplained vision symptoms and poor diet, regardless of BMI. While potentially reversible if caught early, if left untreated, it leads to permanent blindness, their case report warned. https://annals.org//2749497/blindness-caused-junk-food-diet
