24.01.2022 We have been furiously working behind the scenes in the last 48 hours (think Santa’s workshop on Christmas Eve) - and we have some goodie good news to share tomorrow at 9am so watch this space. We want to thank you again, people of Perth for your love and support. Yes we are a small volunteer team who do this because of our love of Christmas and love of you. Yes we are creating our Drive-Thru 2020 from the ground up. We are building a tunnel structure as we speak and r...einventing the entire experience. We know it has been a tough year for many and we certainly don’t want to add to that through disappointment, but please know our systems are thorough, our team is experienced, super committed and professional (this is especially true of our IT crew) and we are doing our very best to spread Christmas joy. Thousands of Perth-ites came through our doors - many for the first time. We witnessed countless smiles, bucket-loads of wonder and a whole lot of Christmas memory-making moments. 20.01.2022 We know you are all on the edge of your seat, so yes we can confirm at 9am today we are releasing a SECOND ROUND of tickets. This equates to only a few hundred tickets, so as per round one we anticipate they will be snaffled in minutes. To note: ... They will be released at 9am on the dot They are free & available on the ‘tickets here tab’ in our website www.lightsintheheights.com.au You can only get one per transaction. One ticket = one car Unfortunately these second release sessions *will not receive showbags* as we are unable to arrange extra quantities wil our suppliers in time - so sorry! We have released them only for extra sessions on these 2 days : SATURDAY 12 Dec & TUESDAY 15 Dec (we are unable to do anymore nighttime sessions however given the nature of our event it can still be thoroughly enjoyed during the day!) We use a professional and excellent booking system, EventBrite the best in the biz, but given high demand and limited supply it is a case of luck / your wifi / how quickly you refresh / how many others are trying to ‘add to cart’ at the same time. We hope these continues to spread the joy that is always our heart, but once these ones are gone are small, volunteer team really cannot facilitate anymore. With no manual to follow, but a small, creative team with lots of innovation, exceptional commitment and a true passion to spread joy amidst the COVID year we brought this tunnel dream to life. Thank you, 1000s of Perth folk for coming on this drive-thru with us, thank you for spreading the love, thank you for seeing what we were trying to achieve & thank you for your thank yous ...(we read & appreciate every single one). 16.01.2022 As per previous years we are thrilled to announce our Sensory Session on Monday 9th Dec at 5pm. This is a closed session featuring reduced lights, noise and crowds. Our volunteers for this session have experience, expertise & temperament to appropriately assist and support those in attendance. ... Previous years we have had around 40-60 attendees as opposed to our usual 600 per session and we work hard to carefully manage numbers. 01.01.2022 Winter Wonderland is one of our favourite rooms! It’s crisp and white and bright and we LOVE seeing all your faces light up with awe and wonder as you arrive.
