23.01.2022 Aim high . Grass trees are blooming all over the Park. Need a transfer to the Light to Light walk? Give us a call 0429961047.

22.01.2022 These are the first images we've seen of Saltwater Creek. Graphic shots from @Get Shot photographer Scott Blanch. We're still unable to enter the Park as there is still active fire in some areas. We will post any updates we can when we can. Such a sad start to 2020 .

21.01.2022 Admission: I whinged about having to step over these fallen trees. Would happily climb over several now . Looking forward to the regrowth . Tour bookings will be suspended until National Parks gives us the all clear to recommence. Please stay tuned for updates. ... @ Boyd Tower See more

21.01.2022 We did close. But now we're back again! Too many people out there need us to get them to the Light to Light Walk so Light to Light Transfers is born. Read on.... https://lighttolightcamps.com.au/out-with-the-camps-back-w/

20.01.2022 On the (Green Cape) road again. Plenty of walkers have found out about the Light to Light Walk reopening. We've been on this bumpy ole road several times already this month. Need a transfer? Give us a call 0429961047.

20.01.2022 Sorry we've been out of touch :) Here's a quick outline of how the Summer of 2020 is going for us so far.... https://lighttolightcamps.com.au/and-then-it-rained/

19.01.2022 Here's another set of amazing images from Scott Blanch from @Get Shot Images. One of our favourite areas in the Park: Mowarry Point

19.01.2022 Another great reason to get back down the coast

18.01.2022 Ok so where we work, it's a bit burnt . But the northern section of #benboydnationalpark didn't burn at all. So we took our daily exercise in the stunning isolation of Haycock Point today. We are ok with Iso-Easter here .

17.01.2022 Goodbye Light to Light Camps. Hello Light to Light Transfers :) We reluctantly decided to close our Light to Light Camps fully catered tour business and concentrate on our new Wilderness Escapes on our own property at Kiah. ... BUT we've had so many requests for transfers of independent walkers, we decided to offer that service. You can still do it the easy way with our friends Cam & Tess at Sapphire Coast Guiding Co. Or you can contact us and request a transfer to the start or end of the Light to Light Walk. We're just transitioning our website, renewing our EcoPass etc. but should be up and running soon. Thanks for your ongoing support!

17.01.2022 We'd love to give you an update....but there's nothing to report! https://lighttolightcamps.com.au/nothing-to-report/

17.01.2022 99% of our tours begin the Light to Light Walk here - from Boyd's Tower to Green Cape Lighthouse. All our past guests will remember this place fondly. We will try to keep you up-to-date on any developments about the status of the Park as they are to hand.... Thanks for your patience and understanding through this crisis. Jen and Arthur

11.01.2022 Hello out there! We've been gathering our wits and dealing with what 2020 has so far dished up! Get an idea of where things are at - read on: https://lighttolightcamps.com.au/2020-whats-this-all-about/

11.01.2022 We've made a hard decision. National Parks told us in May that the walk would not reopen until 2022. So we completely overhauled our business model to survive. We've just been advised that the Walk will probably now be open this year, but we were too far down a new track to pivot - again. We still hope to offer transfers to Light to Light Walkers, but our Camps as we knew them will close. Read on to find out why......... https://lighttolightcamps.com.au/thanks-for-the-memories/

10.01.2022 We've made the difficult decision to close our Light to Light Camps tours. It's been almost impossible for National Parks to give us certainty as to when the Light to Light Walk would re-open and we based our planning on advice in May that it would not open till 2022. We're happy to hear the Walk will re-open before Christmas 2020, but we are too far along a new track ourselves to go back. Please check our website and our latest blog for the full story. Thanks for the suppor...t! To help us get back on our feet, please consider supporting our kayak tours and our new "pivot" business: http://kiahwildernesstours.com.au/escapes/

09.01.2022 Our first trip into the Park post-fire revealed the extent of damage - and the ability of the Australian bush to recover . Wonboyn village was so so lucky! It will be a while before the Light to Light Walk will be open. Will keep you posted! @ Disaster Bay Lookout

07.01.2022 After watching our precious National Parks burning for months now, this really resonates with us. Come on Canberra - let these guys drive. Get in the passenger seat. They'll take you for the ride - you just have to listen. Such passionate words.

06.01.2022 The best campgrounds we've ever used - use these. Waterless, composting toilets that don't smell!! Really! There's a fan inside that extracts any odours and they look just like a septic toilet from the top. You will not regret getting one of these installed.

06.01.2022 Everywhere you look in our region is burnt forest. We've now had lots of rain and the forest is responding. Pretty soon those dead leaves will fall and more and more bright coloured foliage will pop out. Watching, waiting, wondering about the power of nature. ... We'll give you updates about Ben Boyd NP as soon as we know more but for now some remains closed . @ Narrabarba, New South Wales, Australia

05.01.2022 These amazing images from Get-Shot by Scott Blanch capture much of the landscape after the fires. Amongst this - and in certain places in Ben Boyd National Park, the bush wasn't touched. How wonderful to see signs of life already. The fire was on 4th January.

03.01.2022 It's official - we're now Light to Light Transfers . When you walk the Light to Light, you either have to have 2 cars OR go with a catered / guided tour like @sapphire coast guiding co OR Book a transfer with us .... Or walk there - and back again . 03.01.2022 We've been pretty quiet, we know. The fires have heavily impacted the National Park. But look look look at what else this place has to offer!! Our entire region is full of gorgeous places like this. Come visit us! #buyfromthebush #emptyesky #visiteden

03.01.2022 Sunrise over burnt trees and blooming Xanthorrhea. #greencaperoad

02.01.2022 Announcement: sadly, we cannot offer Light to Light Walk tours until National Parks & Wildlife Service is able to repair and re-establish the track. The fires were fierce in some sections and we have not been able to see it, but a friend sent images that were worrying. See what's happening here:https://lighttolightcamps.com.au/whats-going-on/

01.01.2022 Lomandra longifolia is one of the many natives flowering right now. The recent rains have seen the landscape transformed and bursting with colour. Book a transfer today. Phone 0429961047.

01.01.2022 You all know we just love lyrebirds and there are plenty in Ben Boyd National Park, but we've never seen this many of these amazing birds in one place! https://www.abc.net.au//lyrebirds-band-together-/11910666
