But with an inappropriate joke at an appropriate time caught Russell’s attention and he was called back in and given 2 minutes to get a shot - Russell even gave him tips on delivering jokes better. 20.01.2022 With Winter nearly over time is running out to enjoy a cheeky Mulled Wine over the weekend. Never fear though, we’ve got the recipe to get you sorted. Glühwein (Mulled Wine)... Ingredients 2 medium lemons 2 medium oranges 10 whole cloves 5 cardamom pods 1 1/4 cups granulated sugar 1 1/4 cups water 2 (3-inch) cinnamon sticks 2 (750-milliliter) bottles dry red wine, such as Cabernet Sauvignon or Beaujolais Nouveau 1/2 cup brandyCheeseclothButcher’s twine Instructions 1. Using a vegetable peeler, remove the zest from the lemons and oranges in wide strips, avoiding the white pith; place the zest in a large saucepan. Juice the lemons and oranges and add the juice to the pan. 2. Place the cloves and cardamom in a small piece of cheesecloth, tie it tightly with butcher’s twine, and add the bundle to the saucepan. 3. Add the sugar, water, and cinnamon sticks, place the pan over high heat, and bring to a simmer, stirring to dissolve the sugar. Reduce the heat to low and continue to simmer, stirring occasionally, until the mixture is reduced by about one-third, about 20 minutes. 4. Add the red wine and brandy, stir to combine, and bring just to a simmer (don’t let it boil). Remove from the heat and remove and discard the spice bundle before serving

14.01.2022 Tim Rogers, 2012, at the Griffin Theater. For those that know Brenton, they would know how much he loves Tim’s music & the man in general. Lets face it, it’s a flat out man crush.... Brenton asked Tim after a show if he could take his portrait. He said yes and to come back the next night before the show, Brenton was (a little blown away) and nervously excited. For Tim to take the time out to sit for this portrait for no reason, other than a young photographer asking him, was inspiring & a true turning point in Brenton’s career. 12.01.2022 With snow forecast this weekend here’s a Hot Toddy recipe to warm your hearts Ingredients * cup water... * 45ml whiskey * 2 to 3 teaspoons honey, to taste * 2 to 3 teaspoons lemon juice, to taste * 1 lemon round * 1 cinnamon stick (optional, for garnish) Method 1. In a teapot or saucepan, bring the water to a simmer. Pour the hot water into a mug. 2. Add the whiskey, 2 teaspoons honey and 2 teaspoon lemon juice. Stir until the honey has disappeared into the hot water. Taste, and add 1 teaspoon honey for more sweetness, and/or 1 teaspoon more lemon juice for more zing. 3. Garnish with a lemon round and cinnamon stick (if using). Enjoy!

01.01.2022 Part of a great shoot is having a great team. Creating a team that not only we can trust, but the client can trust too is so important. We turned Bathurst RSL into a studio for the day and recreated a lighting set up that we had done in studio months before. The client trusted and believed we could make it look exactly the same - which we did.
