24.01.2022 During these stressful, fearful times, when our day-to-day is changing, it is important now more than ever to spend some time with our pain and our fears. To hear them out, to try and understand them. Then we can work on healing them and release any resentment we hold from what caused that pain or fear in the first place. The alternative is - if we don't deal with the pain and walk through it, if we push it down instead or try to distract ourselves whenever it comes up - we a...re bound to transmit that pain and fear to whoever sets us off next, usually over the smallest thing. As we wouldn't want someone else's pain launched in full force towards us, we have a responsibility to ourselves and the people around us (not to mention, our karma) to check in with ourselves if we are getting triggered and deal with whatever comes up and transform it. Choose to transmit good stuff, not the ugly stuff. Our world needs it right now more than ever. Let's make this a crisis that brings us together, not tear us apart. 23.01.2022 What are some of your stories of rejection that led you to better choices? How many of you have felt bummed when rejected for something, but then, it somehow led you to something much better? I know I have. Many times. I remember my frustration, disappointment, and despair at the time, when I had no idea what the bigger picture held for me. I also remember the joy, happiness, and alignment I felt when the better path presented itself to me. Because now there was space opened... for it. We can’t see what’s happening while we’re in the heart of the tornado. Only later when things clear up can we appreciate where the tornado has landed us. Hindsight is a wonderful gift, weaving learnings into lessons. Helping us understand the role each step played - painful or pleasant - to get us where we’re supposed to be.
