17.01.2022 I had someone message me with an interesting theory on Facebook Ads. Their assumption was that in their industry Facebook Ads had a high cost per click (CPC) In fact, Facebook Ads pricing have nothing to do with industry.... It has to do with 3 things: 1. How broad or refined your targeting is. 2. Your click through rate (CTR) of the ad itself. By this I mean the percentage of people that see your ad on their newsfeeds compared to how many click on the ad. You ideally want this above 2%. 3. Your relevance score. This is a score out of 10 that rates how well your ad copy, your audience and your landing page match.
